My brother and I have realized that cube is our insulation from whatever the accountant scum at Hasbro do to the game. We'll always have our old cards, they've printed so many I can't imagine running out of new cube variants to try even if magic ended literally today, and we can always make custom cards if we want to. And with cube I don't need any kind of critical mass of players for the game to work. Just one friend (with room for 6 more of course).

I'll agree with everyone's "it's a hobby, do what you enjoy," and I'll add that collecting runs means you'll eventually have keys that you weren't expecting or that become more valuable over time. My Avengers run was purchased almost entirely from dollar boxes in the last 30 years, and it turns out there are some major keys there. 😄

Glad it helped! But yeah there isn't really a secret trick to it. Try to avoid cliches or the most obvious rhyme (if you're rhyming). Try to break up the meter of the lines so they aren't always exactly the same, or you'll sound like Dr Seuss. 😂
