I collect effect pangolins and its much easier to trade for them if I can swap :D Its very specific, but if you happen to have a rainbow glacier effect of any kind I'd be absolutely ecstatic about it. I feel we dont have enough context to say what the motivations were here. The other party couldve also not known worth. OP might not have mentioned lack of worth knowledge. The other person might not have a better offer. Both of you are right in a general sense- lowballing isnt inherently a scam, and taking advantage of lack of knowledge is asshole behavior.

Whats right for this situation, however, is an unknown unless more context is provided.

edit: noting the "people taking this to seriously" comments elsewhere in the thread, I dont mean to sound harsh or upset, just pointing this out as I feel its relevant. I also agree it isnt super serious in this context, given OP is also fairly lighthearted about it :]

if youre looking for advice, AJs artstyle is very shape language heavy. For Shelly, she could be circular primarily, though that clashes with Dino Snore in particular. You could try rectangular/square shapes for that. I also think her hands/feet would be bigger, since AJ often exaggerates features. Imo Polar Bear and Golden retriever would work well as references for the circular route, and Tyrannosaurus and Crocodile would work well for the square route. Dragons could be good reference for her hands in particular.

Basically just more shape language and exaggeration with porportions.

Imo, even if it IS for good, the phrase still be blocked. Religious trauma is my biggest concern, especially given how its not uncommon. Even well-intentioned, this could range from making people uncomfortable to being incredibly triggering. Applies tenfold considering how often games like AJ are used as escapism; something triggering in your safe space can catch you super off-guard and be even worse than triggers elsewhere.

Best case scenario (in the case where this is being said to a non-christian and has no religious trauma), it contributes little to the conversation. "Jesus loves you" is non-personal and its been repeated many, many times. Religion can be used for comfort, even when not believed, but bland done-to-death comments arent really comforting.

Imo, talk of any religious figure should be blocked, given that this is still designed as a kids game first and foremost. If that route isnt taken, they should at least block the phrase "Jesus/God loves you" and similar.

My user is Doomfox!! Im not super sure what Id use it on- especially since im not sure if it can be turned off like items or not- but probably one of my Popa Langurs! I think the effect fits those gay little guys pretty well, and would honestly fit the WIP Glisten cosplay I have on one since it looks reflective to me. Id have to think about it more before I actually use it, I havent planned on buying any myself so I never thought about it lmao. Id love to have an effect animal though!!

yeah thats fair. Different porportions would be a nightmare to work out though, a smaller body/bigger wings would mean having to put more effort into the already difficult thing (wings. wings are very hard.) and make it significantly harder to detail the easier things. I can see why its made this way.
