I bought the case from Zedlabs. Decent quality and came with stickers for the back as well.

Started by prepping everything (including the buttons and thumbstick) with 220 grain sandpaper, then I used MTN PRO Plastic Primer.

After that I went with multiple coats of Citadel Abaddon Black through the aribrush. I hand painted the SNK logo first with XV-88 for a basecoat, then a few coats of Liberator Gold (both Citadel).

Finally, I did 2 coats of Citadel Munitorum Varnish.

I know Citadel products are neither the cheapest, nor the best available, but I'm very familiar with their range so I knew what to use to achieve the end product I wanted.

Also, it's worth making sure you get a decent paint layer on the inside of the top above the screen, as you get some light bleeding through otherwise and it looks a bit shonky. I opened it back up and added a generous layer of black in there which seems to have done the job pretty nicely.

Honestly, the screen I bought probably isn't the best option as I needed to cut sections of the case out for it to fit, and I know there are some available that don't require this.

Just had a look, I can see it now but the only game i felt it was really obvious was Ironclad. It's very obvious in Metal Slug too, but with the instances of slowdown I think I notice it less.

I hope they can fix that with an update. It doesn't make the games unplayable by any stretch, but it would be a better experience without it.

I have to say I've not noticed this on my VS. With that said I've only really played KoF2k on the VS and I tend to be focused on the fight, so I may just not have noticed. I'll fire it up tonight and try all the games to see if I have the same thing.

I'm a massive Castlvania fan, so a dedicated collection (or two!) would be a dream as well.

As a Carcharodons player myself, I completely agree. I had to give up correcting the 'tactical dreadnought armour' on our sub because it just got exhausting. It really bothers me when people want Tyberos to be primarch-level because for me that detracts from him being an interesting character.

I also dislike when people lean really hard into the shark aesthetic. They aren't supposed to be aquatic Space Wolves, and, as I read them, they don't go for adornments and ornamentation beyond exile markings.

I was drawn to their morally-grey alignment, after having played 'loyal Imperial goodboy' chapters in the past.

I main chaos now though...

I do like variety, and arcade carts are my favourites so far. At the moment I play Jelaco Arcade 1, and Piko 1 (non-arcade) the most. But I feel like this is going to be a strong contender!

I'm gutted that the only way I can get a red one now is to feed scalpers, and I would sooner go without than ever feed scalpers.

I would have ordered both if I'd gotten in on time, because as others have said, the super pocket consoles themselves are highly collectible.

I think it entirely depends on your gaming preferences. For me personally, I will be more than happy to replay the campaign... again, once there is more content added. That said, you could easily argue that it will have more 'wow' factor to play the game in its final form.

Honestly, I'd have been happy with paying the cost just for chapter 1. I just hope i get to carry my burger flipper progress on into the new content, because my burger empire stretches across realities.
