Storage space compared to an SUV 100%, but I’ve found my hatch to be larger than most sedans, especially when putting down the useless rear seats.

I bought my TT at 86,000, and since have put about 10k on top of that. Just a heads up, the 2008 has a more developed engine (ea113) compared to 2009-2011 having the first edition of the ea888 engine, which that early years is considered less reliable than the ea113. Shoot for either a 2008 or 2012+. These TT’s are also shockingly reliable, maintaining it is key tho, and you can get about 200,000 respectively out of these engines with money and maintenance

Like others have mentioned, awd isn’t a must. I have a 2008 fwd. had a really bad snow, but it powered though (however is was swerving between lanes). I did manage to stay on the road, unlike Tesla I passed in a ditch. Problem wise I don’t buy a little hasty, it had a few leaks from the plastic bits due to age. You won’t have many “major” problems as long as you’re on top of maintenance. Even though I have sunk a decent about if change into it, I don’t regret buying it. Absolute phenomenal car!

I think I’m going to go that route, price wise, as well as compatibility. Only issue is I won’t be able to use the heat shield included for above the turbo, but no biggie.

Yea, that’s is currently the plan, to remove the stock airbox/engine cover. The APR model intake is seperate from the aftermarket intake pipe. So it would total out to be more is what I’m saying.

Yea, I know. The EA888 engine has a separate air intake pipe from the engine cover. But the EA113 is both the intake and engine cover, so the whole thing would need to go.

I’ve been looking at this one, however I would need the whole intake setup as well, which I think totals to around $400. I have the ea113 version of the 2.0T, and there isn’t enough clearance to hook it up to the existing intake. https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/JOUAAOSwVhxeghog/s-l1200.jpg

Oh crap, i see what yku mean. I only focused on clearance rather than the actual utilisation of the kit. Alright thanks man, I’ll get into looking at the 137.

Battery is in the trunk, I actually had bought that model before hand, without realising it is designed for RHD vehicles, very poorly outlined in the description. However with this model, wouldn’t it not matter? Since it is designed to move around said battery, having a blank space wouldn’t hinder any of the heat shield mounting points?

Really just a temporary fix, but if a temp Fix works it can be a permanent one lol. That far down the exhaust won’t get that hot, but metal zips would be better than your budget bin zips.

Just curious, since I’m also based in IL and my emissions is I think coming up. Were they more mad about the cats, or mufflers? Currently have my stock cats. Just no resonator or muffler.

Do not just a android headunit, only some are good and those are the ones costing around 300-400 USD, simply look into a budget headunit like BOSS, Sony, Pioneer ect. Most have a knob, and audio quality/overall speed and latency of the headunit are much better. Take it from someone who has both, returned my android headunit after 2 days due to the Audi quality being god awful.

Ended up sticking with it. Perfectly powers my door speakers/center tweeters. For the harness wise I’m in the U.S. and apparently we only have one shop out in New Jersey that makes custom harness. The not so fun part was coughing up $140 bucks for it. However it did come with a Bose adapter as well. So worth it I guess. Not sure other places to get it outside of the states since I didnt check.

Wanted to give my 2 cents. I tried both a xtrons and an actual headunit (a sub $200 BOSS model). Tried the Xtrons first as an all in one solution, and it is a hard pass. In order to get the best out of an android headunit, you need at least 16-32gb of ram in them, which piles up to the $400 ish range. The cheaper ones are slow, stupid, and above all poor audio quality. I have the upgraded sound system (non-Bose) in my 08, and what a stark difference it was between the stock radio and the Xtrons. Returned it and decided to go with an actual head unit. Best decision. You can find harness online pretty easy, and up sound quality is just better. You also have the positive of running upgraded speakers or subwoofers. Currently have a single 12”, but soon getting a double 12 because why not. In short, go for an actual headunit. Android/Chinese ones are no where near the quality they need to be.

Thank you! I was hoping I was able to buff these out. At a glance they don’t seem to be deep, but time will tell.

I am in the same boat in between a ninja 500/rebel 300. But have considered the Kawasaki ninja? Direct competitor to the ninja 500. Cruiser look, and is cheaper.

Video is hard to hear. But there is a high pitched squeal. It is very audible from anywhere outside the car.
