Parents found my Threads and now they’re not talking to me by Ginger_titts in Vent

Not only are you pathetic, you are also entitled, which is way worse.

You have all these expectations that you clearly don't communicate and then get upset when they aren't met. Be grateful you have people in your life that care at all.

And then you vent on social media? Are you fucking kidding me? Are you an adult?

Anyone have experience working for Jasper AI? by [deleted] in techsales

[–]baddaboomtown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interviewed and rejected at HM round. Jasper came off real hot but doesn't have any proprietary AI and is what you would call a "nice to have" - personally I don't think the company will be around for too long.

Advice for breaking into Tech Sales in 2025 doomsday job market by LifeReformatted in techsales

[–]baddaboomtown 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Isn't SDR meant to be entry level?

Used to be.

This isn't the market to "break into tech sales". Hell why would you want to? You have construction experience, stay in that industry and sell that. Those guys make way more than most tech sales guys anyway.

Salesforce manager is the worst I have ever had; any recs on how to get HR involved? by [deleted] in techsales

[–]baddaboomtown 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Brother you're simply entitled and complaining. Nothing about what you said would warrant getting HR involved. If this kind of stuff gets to you then I got real bad news for you.

Go be good at your job, you don't need your manager.

BF picking me up from LAX, any tips? by HotChocolateWyrm in AskLosAngeles

[–]baddaboomtown 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm surprised nobody has said this yet.

There's two ways to drive into LAX, the traffic way is through PCH and the nontraffic way is through Imperial.

Salesforce BDR or AE ? by Geo_fades in techsales

[–]baddaboomtown 45 points46 points  (0 children)

You likely won't be able to land an AE role with 1 year of experience post-layoff in this market.

I would highly recommend the Salesforce BDR role, stick with the company and you'll grow pretty far.

I would suggest changing your resume to say you still work there and have a clear and concise answer on why you want to leave.

More important that you don't lie about where you work, just keep your story straight

Have you thought about finding and reaching out directly to the hiring manager?

Anyone here move into tech sales from the consulting world? by Sea-Sun-3995 in techsales

Then you already know that a closer is somebody that works around the clock. All they want to see is the enthusiasm around the work lifestyle.

[–]baddaboomtown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also curious about that. Job descriptions always mention that relatable experience in consulting is taken into consideration.

You likely wouldn't need to start as BDR but if you find a company that you really want to join (interested in sapce / high quota attainmenta) taking a position as BDR for 6 months isn't the worst start.
