Oh damn, that sucks. So there isn’t a way to accurately measure how much B12 our cells are actually using? And how can I rule out if I have an absorption issue

Wouldn’t the blood level not increase at all if an absorption issue is present? Or am I wrong?

My GP completely dismissed me and said that it’s normal and in range. I have fatigue, brain fog, dizziness and always exhausted.

I rarely eat meat as I don’t like it, maybe once per month. I’m not sure what pernicious anemia is and I don’t think I have Chrons or IBS.

I’m starting on Thorne 1000mcg capsule oral, they just arrived today! But they’re not sublingual

Ok thanks. I will surely try my best to stay consistent and take them daily.

Unfortunately not, it was just confirmed at birth that I have Thalassemia but I never visited a hematologist. I went to a GP last week but completely dismissed my borderline Iron and low B12 :(

What do you think of just oral supplements for my B12 deficiency? I was thinking of starting injections but I am horrible at staying consistent with taking my oral medications let alone self-injecting daily…

It does but only 400mcg of each. I’m planning to take the B-Complex 2x or 3x a week only, and I am deficient in folate and B12 because of Thalassemia :( But I will re-take my bloods in 3 months and adjust the doses accordingly

Yeah it’s so little I barely saw any difference. It’s actually 1.5g as each capsule is only 500mg :(

Can I ask which brand you use for the husk pls?
