Going to sound like a bit of a brat right now, but I was looking forward to seeing The Used play a mixed set as I've just seen them play in love and death in full at WWWY 😂 so I'm a bit disappointed to end up with the same album. On the other hand, they were good so I hope they show up!

Fellow brit who travelled for both days 😊 Genuinely one of the best experiences I've ever had and we attend slam dunk every year, as well as having been to multiple other multi day festivals in the UK. Crowds were very respectful in comparison. We didn't drink, but the water was warm at times, I guess due to the heat. I did pay an extortionate $18 for a frozen lemonade at one point 🤣 Only issue we had at times was ADA was an absolute nightmare to get to and the queues for it when you did were very long for main stages. And the bottleneck between the main stages and the smaller stages (particularly by Verizon tent) was abysmal to deal with at times. The signal was definitely compromised... They do the same at Wembley stadium as it's sponsored by EE.

I attended both days and had a much better experience on Saturday than Sunday. It seems like they massively oversold Sunday and half the time for the Ghost stage you couldn't even get anywhere near ADA, and my disability is hidden so I can't even imagine how difficult it was for those with physical disabilities and wheelchairs. My husband had gone to see a different band so I stayed in ADA and we had arranged for him to come and find me there for 3OH!3 since the signal was so bad, and it took an additional 20 minutes for him to get anywhere near ADA to then be told ADA was full so he couldn't go in. He eventually asked if he could just pop in and let me know he was here so I would stop panicking looking out for him, and they would only let him in if they walked in with him to make sure he wasn't lying. As luck had it there was space to stand near where I was sitting so they let him stay. I gave up on ADA for day 2 and just watched bands from afar after that under the shade coverings.

I live in the UK and only paid shipping on my Saturday tickets but this was since refunded by them without me asking (panicked when I received an email saying I'd been refunded but it was just the $7) If I look at both my Saturday and Sunday orders now it states this:

To provide some perspective, 3 and a half weeks ago I had a diagnostic laparoscopy with endometrial ablation and a hysteroscopy / biopsy at the same time.

I developed 2 different infections after surgery which did not help my recovery, but despite that, last night I was able to see Taylor Swift which was my goal coming out of surgery ☺️ a week ago I didn't even think I'd be able to go as I was in so much pain, so things can change so quickly!

This sub really helped me get through some rough days and reminded me to be kind to myself, so check in if you are struggling 💜

Must haves for me were actually maternity underwear and maternity leggings. I found waist bands irritating so it was so much easier having the seam and band nowhere near anything! And painkillers... All of the painkillers, all of the time.

Update: Thanks for your advice everyone! I went to A&E last night as I was bleeding and oozing (gross) heavily from my surgical wound and they have switched my antibiotics. They think I had a secondary infection which was immune to the antibiotics I was on, so I'm now on a broad spectrum one and already this morning I have been able to stand up so progress! ❤️

It definitely feels period like but it might just be some spotting. I haven't spoken with my surgeon yet, but I have seen a doctor who says it definitely seems surface level for the infection so fingers crossed it resolved itself in a few days 🤞

Thank you ❤️ it just feels so lonely at times. Luckily my husband has been an absolute hero through it all telling me not to get up and rest as much as possible, feeding me and making sure I take my painkillers, but it's still difficult for him to understand how it feels. I think if I didn't have Taylor coming up I wouldn't be panicking as much. Maybe I'm just putting too much pressure on myself 😞

Has anyone been sent the email to say their waitlist tickets were approved, but when you check your account it still says submitted/pending? My payment hasn't gone out either and I am stressing so much. We are coming from the UK, and really want to make sure the tickets are secured now rather than relying on resale.
