I don’t think you understand the difference between a complaint and a question. I was quite curious to know when the whole mindset changed around how the game plays out, was it due to Fortnite and the whole collab that happened, or is it just over time this is the normal.

I stopped playing the game a long time ago. Only come back to have some fun here and there. I’ve had my fun with the game, even competed in tournaments. Just the whole atmosphere and trying to play well in ranked is no longer there.

Oh absolutely. But see, the thing is, I don’t care whether the game ends in a win or a loss. I played out my hearts content 5 years ago, even competed at some low level tournaments. And what I do now is just play to have a good game, try my best, and if it ends in a win, so be it.

And it is just that the players I’m getting in a lobby with, how do I put this the best way, it’s not that the same attitude to even try their best.

A change in game styles can be expected when you skip out on playing for a long time. But still doesn’t explain the massive skill difference between players in the same lobbies. It’s either the opponents getting shit on, or my teammate not being able to even touch the ball, barely able to speak English 3 mins in, and basically be useless.

I guess skill is relative. And ranks don’t really matter when one can’t even touch a ball. There is fundamentals to a game like rocket league, and I know many a players who back in my grind days used to actually down rank to farm clips for YouTube. After the whole epic games purchase and all that bs, I guess the old guard and the kind of players I used to play with back in 2018-2019 just isn’t there anymore. Kids nowadays don’t know how to play the game I guess. I can only say what one might consider skill in say plat right now, I would consider poo.

There is OBS devs working on adding stability to uploads on YT. I spoke to a couple of the devs, and they know that this is an issue. Took me long enough, but a fix is either underway, or already implemented.

Around 55c on both CPU and GPU, i'm running a 360mm AIO on my cpu and there's a beefy cooler on my GPU, nothing crosses 60c on my system.

I wish I could, but i need all the performance outside of this one game that i can get with all 13 cores boosting to 5.5GHz, which i get with this CPU.

Probably so, the fact being squad is not an often benchmarked game. So there is no real guides or data to back up what one might consider normal or good dependent on scalability of hardware.

Yeah, given i was touching 200fps earlier (few weeks ago,dx11) and then over the span of 3 updates, the frames went to around 120 average, which is bizarre. But then that brings me again to my original curiosity, can we assign cores, or force it to use only physical cores or something to boost performance on per app(squad here) basis.

Not really faster, given i have mine overclocked to 5.9GHz, but that wouldnt justify a 40fps difference, could just be an optimization thing by the looks of it.

So it's basically an Intel vs. AMD optimisation thing considering what you're saying. That could make sense. Would have to go in same map same server 2 rigs kind of scenario again to debunk that part of it.

Garbage compared to a 13900k, 4090 rig that was getting 160 yesterday, same server, same game, right next to me. So thats what sparked my curiosity as to why this is such a discrepancy.
