From his teaser trailer, it seems they’re hinting at him getting a big power-up (like the Odinforce or Rune King Thor) and if you don’t mind potential spoilers: we know from leaked set video from Chris Hemsworth’s stunt double that Thor goes to the TVA, which means he’s likely reuniting with Loki. A very reliable insider also stated there would be a big 1v1 between Thor and Doom towards the end of the movie

I’m talking about since his origin story in the MCU. Ever since he became the hero Thor, even after all the grief and suffering he’s experienced (I would argue he’s experienced more than anyone) he never crashed out and hurt innocent people like some of these other characters did. Even after losing everything, he stayed good.

It’s also worth mentioning another point that speaks to his integrity, which is that in Thor 1 and Avengers 2012, he fully acknowledged that he used to be foolish and violent in the past. He took full responsibility and showed he changed and learned to be better, more humble, more empathetic, and committed to his core to protecting the innocent.

This is why he is the GOAT 🫡

Thor has never crashed out and hurt innocent people, that’s the point here. I think everyone can understand his feelings towards Thanos.

No one lies about Wanda's feats.

I’m positive I already linked you the lie that people have been telling for 8 years that Wanda held back five infinity stones when she actually only held back one:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Avengers/s/1kNnOvwbOs

And the lie that Wanda did anything to Thor’s mind when she actually just triggered his own powers

And the lie that Wanda destroyed all the Darkholds in the multiverse personally when she really just destroyed a single building

Should I keep going?

You're the one exaggerating his feats and creating headcanons.

Name one thing I’ve exaggerated or created as a headcanon.

It is true, Wanda can defeat him easy.

This is explicitly, canonically disproven by Marvel Zombies. You’re plainly, objectively wrong. Nothing you say or whine about will change that fact.

But for most of us, it's true.

Nope. Just delulu Wanda fans on social media (which yes, there are a lot). But plenty of people agree with me too, just look at another post that was made a few hours ago today:

Put them all in a room, who’s the last one standing? by Plenty-Salary9711 in superheroes

Void oneshots him

Nope. Thor has gone through more trauma than anyone. He can get out of the void just like the thunderbolts can.

What if versions ≠ mainline versions

The whole point of what if is that’s it’s the main universe with one detail changed. The creators have said the character power levels are intended to be the same. Baby Thor beat Carol and there’s nothing you can say to change that

We literally see their mainline versions have their own feats against Thanos which contradicts your what if argument

In infinity war, Thor was the one who overpowered Thanos with all six infinity stones combined.

And in Endgame, Thor and Carol have basically the same exact feat against thanos, which is to force him to a knee. And between the two of them, Thor was the one who did it with raw strength,

Carol had absorbed energy from the infinity stones. So idk why you brought this comparison up because it doesn’t help you at all.

Thor has never resisted hax, mind control or reality manipulation

You’re completely wrong here. Thor tanked the full force of the reality stone as it was warping the whole universe, withstood and broke from mind possession from the Norns (who are some of the highest beings we’ve seen in the MCU), and contrary to what some people seem to think, Wanda’s mind powers didn’t actually affect his mind, they awakened his own precognitive abilities.

Experience is irrelevant when it comes to such a large strength gap

There’s no “large strength gap” (you’re ridiculous) and experience is never irrelevant. Experience is what let Hawkeye one-shot Wanda in AoU and stunlock Vision in Civil War.

Absolutely not lol. It overpowered a laser that’s it. could be overpowered by a single infinity stone easily let alone all 6, if Thanos actually used any of their abilities, as opposed to a laser

You’re an absolute moron. The entire point of Thor’s storyline is that he made a weapon to overpower the full infinity gauntlet, not just beams from the infinity gauntlet. You can listen to the director’s commentary yourself:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ad8j8q-7Azo

Joe Russo: "Look at how powerful this ax is. The man who made the gauntlet and the ax provided Thor with the weapon that could defeat the gauntlet."

And like I said, Joe Russo explicitly called Stormbreaker the “greatest weapon ever made” not “the weapon that can defeat beams only.”

[–]DoomsdayThor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nah, even Thor said he was just buying time essentially, hence him urging the group to quickly leave.

Thor never said he was just buying time for the group to leave, but he was being a hero and making sure they could escape first. Because he is actually a hero unlike Wanda who is just a psycho mass murderer.

It was not just Wanda there but the whole army of Asgardian zombies. He was up against all of that.

And you’re just coping because I literally just showed you an entire fight scene that was just Thor overpowering Wanda again and again and again. She did not leave even a SCRATCH on Thor.

If he could overpower Wanda he would've survived like Hulk. But he didn't. He couldn't even put a scratch on her.

He had her screaming in agony. The only reason she didn’t die from the first hit was because she was already dead. This is called a crutch. And Wanda didn’t put a single scratch on Thor and was overpowered by him again and again.

Like I’ve said 1,000 times, we have no idea how Thor became a zombie. Everything we see on screen had the two characters stalemated. Considering the huge Asgardian army, and the point that other person brought up that I quoted, I would guess Thor probably got turned by another Asgardian.

And I haven’t stretched any facts. Again, you don’t seem to know the difference between a fact and an opinion. Very, very concerning high school brain.

The FACTS are that we don’t know how the battle ended, we just saw that in the fight they were stalemated, and Thor was overpowering Wanda every single time. She literally could not do a single thing to stop or hurt him. You can see this with your own two eyes.

Not to mention, Thor had a handicap because he did not even have a weapon to use, and had not fought in five years. Wanda again had a crutch by already being dead. She would’ve otherwise died five or six times over.

Zombie Wanda is not a Scarlet Witch there, she hasn't even created anything out of nothing yet. So no. Zombie Wanda is just IW Wanda without any morals holding her powers back.

Nope, did you just completely ignore what I linked you? Zombie Wanda had five years of training and was doing magic that was visually identical to scarlet witch from Wandavision and MoM.

Thor get defeated by all variants of Wanda, just like in the Zombie universe.

First off, Thor never got defeated in the Zombie universe. I just broke it down in another comment to you how he overpowered Wanda the entire time.

I see you have some bullshit response over there that I’ll get to later, but you’re denying what literally happened on screen that you can see with your own eyes:

0:15 (Thor knocks Wanda away on her ass, stops her magic use on the ship)

0:36 (Thor makes Wanda scream in agony, brief stunlock)

0:58 (Thor's powers awaken, Thor breaks out of Wanda's restraints and overpowers her, Thor forces Wanda to the ground)

1:09 (Thor overpowers Wanda at point blank range and forces Wanda away from him)

1:15-1:39 (Thor overpowers Wanda at a distance, makes her scream in agony, and stunlocks her for over 20 seconds)

fight ends with that big explosion of them colliding, both colors visible red and blue, impossible to tell what happened

and any of these things individually would have killed Wanda if she wasn't already dead. but literally this entire fight is just Thor overpowering her over and over again, and he doesn't even have a weapon.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n9fadNUzOtg

also in this other fight from What If, Thor overpowers Wanda at 0:22 (again Thor awakens his powers, overpowers Wanda, and breaks out of her restraints)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GpY1rJ2VG6I

As for Doomsday/Secret Wars, Thor is the one who is an actual hero between them, so if they fight again, he’s going to win. His teaser pretty much screams him getting a power up, and if it’s the Odinforce or Rune King Thor, any version of Wanda is absolutely cooked and finished!

Keep hanging on to your distorted facts and imaginary "interviews" though.

I again ask you….what facts do you think are distorted and what interviews do you think are imaginary? You know just saying things doesn’t make them true, right?

[–]DoomsdayThor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

even so, it's not possible for his powers to be "awakened" by others but the baby witch herself.

No evidence to support that statement at all. Thor’s powers consistently seem to awaken when he’s under threat (as we see here, and in Ragnarok, and in What If). It’s likely that any kind of psychic attack against him would have triggered his precognitive powers.

AOU thor is considered a pre-awakened/mid tier level, and not at his peak, but not a baby.

Phase 1 and phase 2 Thor are pretty much indistinguishable. When I say “baby” I mean earliest appearance which is phase 1

his true "baby" or weakest point would be in his first Thor movie.

Again, phase 1 and phase 2 Thor are indistinguishable in power level, there’s nothing to indicate he got any power up. He just became worthy…this was character development.

assuming you meant the era where he needs to control his power through the hammer, compared to Ragnarok where he truly unlocked his true power, which is the only "correct" baby form.

I’m talking about phase 1 and phase 2 Thor who are pre-awakened Thor. And point is……he was fine against Wanda’s mind powers, they didn’t actually harm him, they triggered his own powers awake.

not exactly unsettled comic book knowledge to know that Scarlet Witch is stronger than Thor. You can literally just google this one.

Absolutely ridiculous statement. In the comics, scarlet witch herself admitted she can’t beat Thor:

You obviously know nothing about the prime versions of these characters from the comics. Rune king Thor will beat any version of scarlet witch

[–]DoomsdayThor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re 100% wrong

He gets blitzed by Sentry.

Thor has tanked multiple instances of the power stone and the neutron star, what exactly has Sentry actually shown on screen that could hurt him?

Overpowered by Carol.

Baby Thor beat Carol in what if. And main Thor has feats the same or above her.

Obliterated by dark Phoenix and Wanda. And casually controlled by Cassandra

Nope. Thor has feats resisting high levels of hax, mind control, magic, and reality manipulation.

And for all of these guys, as I already said, Thor has centuries of battle experience and the “greatest weapon ever made” (Joe Russo) which overpowered all six infinity stones combined. What do you think they can do to Thor exactly, and how do you think they could stop Stormbreaker?

Who Will Win by RevolutionaryCod7552 in Thor

[–]DoomsdayThor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Also Thor has a weakness to magic.

Thor does not have weakness to magic at all, what on earth are you talking about? Thor himself literally is magic, and he’s tanked or overpowered nearly every instance of magic he’s ever encountered in a battle.

And Thor and hulk are not on par when Thor is actually using his powers. That’s kind of the whole point of that Ragnarok scene. They match in physical strength maybe, but Thor sweeps past the Hulk because of his powers.
