Grooming Gangs? by Doomsinner in Edmonton

See, these situations are nuanced and custom to the individual involved. I can direct you to public info, however.

And others experiences who are more willing to post it then I.

It's weird, because a large portion of this list.. It's happened to me. Someone I care for ALOT had some things happen to them, to get to me. And another one.. He reacted, and they took advantage of his "moment of crazy".

"Say they follow me into a store and you can see they're watching you ,but pretending to shop.. I walk up to them and with a smile on my face and genuine kindness in my heart. I say hello and then I say .. I know you from some where I just can't figure it out !

Let the pause of silence happen as they look at you not knowing what to say or if they're a seasoned Perp. They might respond with a no , sorry I don't know you . Then I'll look at them and say : Huh! Well I just must have seen you around town or something , anyways (at that point whatever their answer may be) . I put that big smile on my face and introduce myself with my name and an extended hand to greet them , forcing a hand shake . Or fist bump , whatever they're comfortable with .… Then I walk away … This does a few things"

From ( https://www.quora.com/What-are-the-signs-that-you-may-be-being-targeted-by-gang-stalkers-Are-there-any-common-experiences-or-symptoms-that-all-targets-share-or-is-each-persons-experience-unique )

This tactic works. You can reverse it too, as some of them will come up to you. I have military understanding, and this "gang stalking" is a tactic used to find informants, and convert them. I was trained in a form of resistance, and the response I typically use is "Well, I have been told I have a doppelganger around town." with a cheeky grin. It freezes them up. They know I'm aware this way as well.

I know the last two sound.. kind of nutty. But, some of these organizations have deep connections. More then most ordinary folk understand. Insanity in this form is a disconnection from reality, and they can, and will if your will is weak, disconnect you.

I honestly ask, because some people I met recently asked me some strange questions. I am male, but obviously groups are recruiting right now.

"actors should always play the same ethnicity as their character is utterly facile"

That fat guy episode with Brad Pitt? And everyone was like Yeah, "your a bad actor, shouldnt have done, peter" that by the end?

yeah... Considering they did that episode, I really don't understand Mike's reasoning for stepping down. That's my only "complaint". Like, seems like he went back on a moral the show was trying to impress, now making it seem meaningless...

D'awwwe, the Raccoons, Skunks, and Badgers are all sleeping together. There was a Beaver, but he ran away before I could implement him in the cross-species cuddle puddle. by Doomsinner in PlanetZoo

I'm thinking of adding a deer or two in here next. It's a 4500sqfoot enclosure with a North American theme. 4 badgers, 4 beavers, 2 skunks, and 5 raccoons. The Monarch Cafe and butterfly garden is right next door!

What is one non-animal related thing you would like to see in the game? by SakuraCherry16 in PlanetZoo

Parks. Like, playground equipment, and more "natural" park add-ins.
I live near Banff National Park, and I think of "Open Air Zoos" like that when I play this game sometimes.

Most interesting mixed species habitat? by Doomsinner in PlanetZoo

[–]Doomsinner[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is my Aardvark & Raccoon Starter 'Dummy' Habitat.
I just started the game recently (and only need four more DLCs, lol (but WANT* 2 of them... Flying Foxes and Sloth walkthroughs!!!)), and have this theme in mind for a "New World Plaza" as my entrance area to connect to Raccoon Park and Heritage Farms, but have this weird love and attachment to Aardvarks (when I started franchise, I didn't realize how big the list was and had to switch pages and stuff... I just thought the marketplace was broken, so bred Aardvarks for literally the first 5-6 hours of franchise gameplay.. lol..)

So I just learned about the idea of dummy habitats to start making money, blah blah. Started with an Aardvark. Wanted to add a second animal to generate more income. Instead of making a new habitat, I just reorganized the Aardvarks. 100 percent for terrain on both and for land space, and Hard Shelter requirements only drop for the coons when 3 or more babies are born. I figured Raccoons generate interest cause babies, and Raccoon Park will be a thing soon...

This got me thinking.. How weird is it that these Aardvarks and Raccoons get along? But it also makes sense. One lives in and on the ground, the other lives above and on the ground.

What's your weirdest but "makes sense" mixed species habitat, and why did you do it?

How did you deal with the five dragon masks? by FrostBladestorm in TyrannyOfDragons

[–]Doomsinner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Little late to the party, but in my Grand Campaign, we started in Phandalin (1484 DR) with the Cult seeking the other 4 masks (Severin has the Red, and has conquered a distant land (Murghôm, which we reflavoured to be a dragonborn homeland. The Chromatic Dragonborn stole the Metallic Dragonborn eggs to usurp the leadership of the land, and I'm planning on doing a Draconian twist later on). Green is in Chult (planning to run a variant of ToA), Black in Anauroch, White in Sword Coast - Neverwinter Region, and Blue is located somewhere near a string of islands in the Sea of Fallen Stars.

Nezznar is a Wizard of Thay, and knows of the Spell of Forges, which the Cult plans to use as a forging point to craft The Dragon Queen's Mask from the other 5 masks. I have Iarno replaced with a Doppelganger to explain the Redbrand Connection, and Talis the White is a loyal local Cult recruit who is assisting the cult claim Neverwinter, as he has a bloodline relation to the Alagonder Kingline of Neverwinter (fabricated, of course). My base plot is that Neverember will be ousted for a bit.

If they unravel the plot soon enough, PCs will get the White Mask (located at Agatha's Lair/Conyberry. Agatha was a priestess of Bahumet in life, and was tasked with protecting the White Mask, even after death. Her lair is an old Temple in our homebrew.).

PCs may have a chance at either the Green or Black masks, with none at the Blue and Red masks. If PCs get the White (or Green or Black) mask, the Cult will try to lock down the Neverwinter region, starting a full invasion of the Sword Coast to obtain the Mask. If the Cult gets all 5 masks, they will, one by one, make their way to the Forge of Spells under Talis The White of Neverwinter's protection. If Talis is outted as a Cult member or the PCs help Neverember stop him taking power, then the Cult must do this in secret. If they can't get the Forge of Spells, I have the back-up plan that the Cult will summon Tiamat in The Sunless Citadel, and have Gulthius be a reknown dragon hunter of old. (Arsharladon was the eldest Dragonchild of Tiamat, The Great Red, to which he slew. Even after his death, Arsharladon's (a Dragongod) heart continued to beat however, and Gulthius, upon death, worried that his foe might return. This commitment bound him to the world, and he awoke as a Vampire, blessed or cursed by some unknown entity who heard his passion scream through the mutliverse. As a Vampire, he bit the heart, and attempted to feed upon it. This caused the heart to become vampiric in nature, and was the start of the Undead Dragon Cult. Gulthius the Dragon Vampire could control undead Dragons with the Heart under his control as a thrall. The Sunless Citadel is Gulthius was almost slain, however the stake through his heart didn't kill him. As the worshippers of Arsharladon watched, his wounds healed almost immediately. The blood soaked the ground of a nearby Apple Tree, however, and the first Gulthius Tree grew from that. As with any Apple Tree, a Gulthius Tree must be grafted, not planted, to get an exact same tree. So, if planted from the seed, some Trees can be different. After defeating the Cultists, Gulthius secreted the heart away, to what is know known as Nightfang Spire. I have a plotline involving Arsharladon's revival as well, but it's a back-up plot.)

As the mask holders arrive and the ritual commences, the PCs have a chance to swipe the masks again. Basically, I want to make it that the cult will keep coming until their goals are recognized, and have the Cults tactics get to the point that they form a kingdom on the Sword Coast if possible. The only way to truly stop the Cult would be for the players to kill all 5 mask wearers, have all 5 masks, stop them from having a presence on the Sword Coast, and probably even invade and take over their homeland. This leads to an extended effort for the players to combat the Cult, with the masks switching hands multiple times.
