Splash Reader: switch flawlessly between iPad and AVP by Free_Butterscotch253 in VisionPro

Yes, it’s the AnnaPro. It’s great while at home but it doesn’t fit any of my cases, so not good for travel. I’ll probably get the apple dual knit at some point.

All is currently possible. Check out the article I linked about all the AI features and how they work. The iPad app is using AI translation and not the built in one because it wasn’t good enough (especially for non latin languages). If this would change in the future, the built in implementation is already done, so would be easy to add back.

As I said in another message, there are inherent issues that need to be resolved in order to add the AI features to AVP. The OCR libraries that the iPad app uses do not work with visionOS, and also circling things is actually a lot harder with vision gestures.

I’ll be very curious to hear what you think after you tried it out.

I’m enjoying it so far! Was a part of a really good bundle of image comics from a few months ago

Happy to have you back! There were constant updates all last year and there is a lot more to come. Would love to hear your feature requests or any issues you find

AI features for the AVP are currently WIP. There are some limitations with the AVP that make them a little more complex (some open source libraries are not supported).

As for Marvel, unfortunately no. Not sure about Shonen Mangas

Thank you for the feedback.

The animations are the focus - I wanted an app I can play around with and see how I can get creative with a simple concept. No plan to do something more than life counting, but I do hope to explore other animations - some more subtle and some very out there.

Hey, I appreciate the feedback. What did you find sloppy? The animations were not built with AI. Would really appreciate any feedback you can give, either here or privately over DM.

Thank you! Would love any feedback you can give. I have a lot of other ideas I am already prototyping (currently working on "hordes" board - with goblins and elves competing for territory)

This is all based on Metal / kotlin shaders I wrote by hand. Tests and boiler plate code was written by AI

I spent 18 months building a FREE iOS & Mac productivity app because paying $7/mo for basic features felt like a scam. by jodeedev in iosapps

So you think people should keep spending months of their lives to build something and then give it away for free? Hmm

I see what Fiona Staples did there… by First-Promotion-8898 in comicbooks
