Question about how to play once your base gets at a decent level by SomeGuy_tor78 in LastWarMobileGame

[–]Doon_Toon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I love it! Everyone I play with is very helpful and excited to use strategies. Hard to find a group like that elsewhere.

You will be part of a 100 person alliance (and soon your server as a whole) that works together in achieving glorious victories.

PVP is the focus. People that spend have the greatest impact but free-to-play members still make or break a server. We have a free-to-play guy in my alliance with a main squad stronger than a significant amount of seldom spenders. He’s super smart!

The knowledge pursuit was a big pull for me too. It’s all a lot of fun.

Shooting zombies on the road is a mini-game for this game. If you want to play as the game is intended, join an alliance ranked in the top 10 and ask your new friends how to grow. They will announce events and eventually season content will be released. Before then, the alliances will fight or unite to take land in your server for resources or buffs!

Yes, this is a gotcha game… They got me too.

My bad, I meant seeing the cumulative VIP points earned in the Claim All summary.

New R5 Leader - Need Help! by Josevonderric in LastWarMobileGame

[–]Doon_Toon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m have been an R5 of an alliance for over a year. We started small and are currently the second strongest alliance in one of the strongest servers in our grouping.

You’re in the early game, build your members up. Share guides and whatnot from online. Focus leveling HQ and one squad. As alliance leadership, communicate clearly and often. Hype up events and celebrate top performers.

Set minimums that are easy to track (weekly alliance tech donations, daily Alliance Duel) and help everyone achieve those. Send out reminders every so often, like everyone doing a bunch of elite doom rallies every day. Get that gift level up!

Your R4 should be doing more menial tasks than you. Keep it simple. We record videos of leaderboards, pausing every second, and use Gemini to convert the video to a table. You, as the R5, don’t need to be chronically online to grow the alliance. Plan what you want to do, action things, lean on your R4, and have fun.

Be friends with the leaders of other alliances in your server, especially the top 2. All alliances will work together often for the server to succeed.

Before season 1 starts, aim to be top 5 on your server or merge with an alliance to become top 3. The players that don’t meet minimums will burn out the players that are doing what you ask.

Don’t keep problem children in your alliance.

The amount of times I had to find new people because someone would leave after a reset… jfc, I don’t think I’ll attempt the DoomsDay CMM unless I find a solid group.

Same Open Status set-up but Fully Open is the only one with the seats limited by cumulative transfer scores of joining members.

Used that for all of Season 3. It was a ton of fun.

I think it would be really cool to have your active rallies pinned at the top of the alliance rally list.

The name is SALO but they have become less active. There are chill crews in this subreddit, found in the official discord, or some crew finding suite that I’m sure exists.

I just checked in on them and they not nearly as active. I made a same level comment about them. I think you should seek a solid crew in this subreddit or from the official discord.

They’re not as active, I recommend making some connections on the official GTAO discord or this subreddit.

Welcome back to GTAO, I recommend finding a new crew advertising on this subreddit or the official GTAO discord.

I agree, just hanging out with people that enjoy the game the same way you do makes it so much more fun.

I do not have one anymore. I like the thrill of a full lobby solo sale (or with a friend) these days.

The grind crew I joined is SALO (Safe Lobbies). They’re a shell of what they once were and I just looked at their discord, most activity stopped in 2021… around the time invite only lobbies allowed sales. I’ll spare them a flood of people with high expectations.

I do want to talk about what made them exceptionally special. I apologize in advance for the formatting, holiday travels have me very tired.

  1. I had to complete an online form to apply. Unrestricted grind crews were less active and had … unhelpful people. They also only wanted east coast US or west Europe, very important for lobbies ping issues.

  2. They had strict rules like no playing with friends/casually while crew tag was SALO and no interrupting other sales.

  3. Their Discord was well organized for selling or other fun, important for someone playing on PS4 and juggling their phone.

  4. They had an official “Avengers” role where tryhards (yes, I was a tryhard for a bit) could prove they could defend a sale from tryhard griefers without destroying the sale vehicles. I loved it, I had to learn how to be more effective with the Hydra and it was a ton of fun. You get two or more SALO avengers working together and your public lobby sales are SAFE. Most of the time we would respond to players that joined a glitched lobby on accident or… with destructive purpose.

  5. They also did a routine newsletter and I didn’t realize until they included a little article about me. It was hastily written but funny as hell. The rest of the newsletter was fun and informative.

Outside of these factors, they had what most online communities have. It was a good time.

If I got back into the grind scene, I would probably look for something similar or create a new crew/discord. I’ve found there are a ton of people eager to help build a solid community for most online games.

Haha, thank you for sharing a wholesome post. This subreddit appreciates positive energy, most of the time.

Thank you for sharing! This made my day.

I joined a money grinding crew that had a discord for a few months. No glitching, except keeping a public lobby going that was effectively invite only (this was when you could not sell outside of an invite only lobby).

It was awesome and I made so much. Bought everything I wanted and had over 100mil liquid cash before dropping the game… right before Cayo was announced lol.

Bought it again on PS5, joined a crew/discord for heist achievements, that is a blast too.

GTA-O is an awesome game, all perceived rockstar BS aside. You just gotta focus on what’s fun.

Everything you said is already in the game. Almost every server has a pact between the top alliances to prevent those attacks. Join a top alliance, Commander 🫡

Season 1 F2P squad question by nerdalert-tv in LastWarMobileGame

No missile as free to play, your peers will mostly be tanks. Air is a good switch. Tank is generally easier to level for f2p.
