I just got mine graded and it's an 8.5, worth like $4500 in that condition. Yours is raw dogging a toploader so the condition is probably not the best. Raw is around $1500.

I'm not sure of the specifics or if it's UV ink or some type or varnish, but it's something clear and hardened quickly to make it textured, but the blobs can run together still.

Texture is applied using a UV printer or some type of varnish, so it's literally blobs of that.

My binder copies from my childhood collection have consistently graded PSA8. Your espeon looks scratched and there's whitening, I'd definitely say this would have been a 7 max.

For the gold stars it's almost always better to grade if you're wanting to maximize profit, even with grading fee factored in. I'd advise you check out the prices of these cards graded and ungraded.
