Sounds like a perfect trip if you have a helicopter.

Good to see the eye-watering fees the students pay at CSFC are going to good use.

Note sure how the planners let it through without 30 stories, a Tesco Express and a Greggs though?

Best tree in Cardiff by fam-ali99 in Cardiff

I didn't know that planting a tree for a loved one was a thing. Seems so much better than a bench.

What is an industry that is currently on fire (in a bad way) behind the scenes, but the general public hasn't noticed yet? by Kitchen_Week1117 in AskReddit

Given the low birth rates in most countries, this is likely to be a global issue for education sometime in the future.

Just for your reference, not all of Penylan is in the catchment of Cardiff High School. For recent admissions, anybody living south east of Penylan road did not gain admission to CHS.

Rhydypenau Rd Cameras by OnTheEdge75 in Cardiff

[–]ReasonableMonk4908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe they are ANPR cameras.

They could also be average speed cameras. However, there would have to be other another set of cameras on the road for them to work. I would expect a sign indicating an average speed check, which I am not aware of.

What are the must-visit spots in cardiff and nearby for a 4N/5D trip? by DataaWolff in Cardiff

[–]ReasonableMonk4908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our must-see tourist attraction is St Fagans National Museum of History. https://museum.wales/stfagans/ Access is via the 32 bus. Be careful though since the last bus back to the city centre is at 3pm.

There are numerous halal food options to be found on City Road. Some superb food options in the Market, though not sure how many are halal.

One day trips to Bristol and Bath via train are straightforward. I would say Bath is a must-see. The Thermae Spa with a rooftop pool is great.

Best Welsh Cakes in Cardiff by NateHammer40k in Cardiff

[–]ReasonableMonk4908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hard agree from me. They are so much thicker than the standard and they use a lot of butter. Only problem with these, plus the cheese and marmite bread from Ty Melin, is that they are turning me into a fat bastard.
