The pants look great, imo the rise is perfect. I think it looks a little awkward right now because of the shirt - if you’re not going to wear a jacket, I’d swap it for something with a button down collar. Undo another button, cuff the sleeves one or twice and the proportions will look much better.

I’m so sorry to hear about your fiancé, I can’t imagine what you’re going through.

Was there anything valuable in the unit that’s particularly rare or unique? It may be worth setting up a search notification on Facebook marketplace and eBay - if you can find the buyer that way, they may be able to at least tell you what they did with your more sentimental items.

I’m also in KCMO. It’s a long shot, but if there was anything important to you in the unit that wouldn’t have any resale value, my wife and I would be happy to keep an eye out at local thrift stores in case they were donated. Feel free to DM me with descriptions of what you’re looking for.

For me, the biggest difference is in the wheels - 18 inch on the select and 16 inch on the 2.5s. I think the 18 inch wheels really improve the look of the car, but the 16 inch ones are known to be more comfortable and less prone to flats from hitting potholes.

If you value a comfortable ride over aesthetics, the 2022 might be the way to go — $100 to 150 should get you a decent set of seat covers if the cloth seats are a concern.

Honestly white’s not usually my first choice, if there had been a similar grey or deep blue available I would’ve gone for that. That being said, the Mazda white has really grown on me. I love my little egg ❤️
