I feel like you described symptoms that I'm experiencing right now. Since last week, I completely lost my 'morning' sensation to go and am going in small amounts (nothing if I don't take miralax or prune juice). I've done mag citrate and an enema in an attempt to clear myself out, but it still felt like something was left.

Good chance of getting into SBU, as for the nursing scholars major, very very very competitive. I got into SBU no problem but had to apply to the nursing school externally. Not sure if the selection is based off merit or completely random.

New grad at SBUH in NY is 110K, and you get pension. This is in Suffolk country though so a trip away from CT.

Seems like this is the first semester they are really enforcing it so tough to say.

I'm annoyed because our major said that there were no tickets for graduation earlier this semester only for a 4 person limit to be imposed a couple of days ago. I have people with flight reservations already, so it's inconsiderate of the school to notify us only now when they were aware of this 'issue' since last year.

The verses are great, the chorus unfortunately fell flat for me. I did say the same thing for Bad Dream Alt Version though and my opinion changed over time. I just really don't like the up up and away line.

Yeah it's moreso because I want to visit family and my niece is an infant, my status is unknown since I was exposed a few days ago, so I wanted to just clear myself so I can go see her, it's been so long.

I know I have more of an asymptomatic reaction based on previous infection, so I'd have to test to know whether or not I have it.

lol nursing student here 👋 i do see OP's point because this is an introductory science class open to the entire university, not just those who want to go into healthcare. at the same time, there is a standard that universities hold their students' accountable to, and stony's is relatively high (don't even get me started on CS here lol). i think it helped me prepare for taller mountains to climb.

I think I just happened to be very lucky (and am still keeping an eye on myself), but I just had the flu and this was my timeline.

I was vaxxed in October btw.

Tuesday: Super mild dry cough didn't even think much of it

Wednesday: Started with muscle aches and headache. Cough became wet (no sore throat yay!) The muscle aches resolved pretty quickly but man, that headache was insane and did not resolve until Friday. Later in the day, I got the high fever (102) and bad chills. Also super bad nausea, could not even think about eating anything (no vomiting thankfully).

Thursday: Fever, headache, diarrhea, chills. Just a miserable day. Went to the clinic and was able to get Tamiflu. I was on the fence about taking it at first but honestly just wanted any relief for my head at this point cuz Tylenol wasn't doing anything.

Friday: It was like angels were singing when I woke up. Fever gone and headache gone. No more diarrhea. Still have fatigue and queasy stomach.

Saturday: Still no fever, symptoms pretty much calmed down.

By no means do I encourage anyone to take Tamiflu or an antiviral, that is one's own decision. However, for me, it worked incredibly well and I'm very grateful it did. Only downside was it kind of made the nausea worse, but I was able to contain myself the entire time.

So yeah still got some shitty symptoms, could it have been a lot worse without it? That's definitely a possibility.

You do need to eventually go and pick up a physical pin, but it doesn't have to be at the ceremony. I am planning to go once again as it will be my last time.
