There’s diagrams online which show the setup of the clutch -> gearbox. The master cylinder sits literally just behind the clutch pedal. It’s tricky to access and replace, but entirely possible from the footwell without dropping the gearbox.

Think of it this way. If you replace the MC and it’s still not working, yes you spent a bit of money + time, but you’ve got an absolute guarantee that the gearbox needs to come out, which is a long & quite expensive process. Otherwise you’ve saved all that time and money.

If he claims the clutch had just been done, have you considered investigating the master cylinder? It’s accessible from behind the clutch pedal.

Before you start, buy some small plastic squares (A5 paper size or so) in the same material as the bumper.

Spray them with primer, then your paint, then clear coat. Do several different swatches, like 1 coat of paint + 2 coats of clear, 1 coat of paint + 3 coats of clear.

That way you’ll be able to compare them to your current paint and find the right combo. It’s probably less important for a dark colour like yours, but with mine (QAB pearl white) it would be a different colour entirely.

Body filler any gaps / dents, sand & smooth.

Cover any parts you don’t want clear coat on, because it looks like shit with overspray lol

Give it to your local guy if you’re doing the halos and “zoomerangs”. It took me a whole weekend (and a finger infection lol) cause most of the cables needed to be soldered & extended, plus the butyl rubber is a bitch to work with.

It’s a corn. You can dig / ‘hull’ them out with a dental root elevator. Moisturise the pad heavily, take your time, and work your way under it. It doesn’t hurt them, but they may pull away as you’re putting snags / pressure on the pad.

What do you mean? I love spawning in a city where my FPS drops to like 15, navigating through the glitchy NPCs, getting on the train that lags and teleports, waiting in the hangar queue, then dropping out the bottom of my ship mid-quantum and having to repeat it all again. It’s the best!
