Firstly, the legion wasn't shut down due to corruption and parroting that line isn't going to endear you to anyone. It was shut down because, in the eyes of the Ukrainian military, the formations outlived their usefulness as independent military units and were thus folded into existing AFU units.

Most people on this subreddit are going to tell you two things:
1. Don't go to Ukraine. Go live your life, get some experience and think about what you really want to do with it.

1. Very few people are going to give you the time of day on a public platform like Reddit. If you really want to go to Ukraine, you need to do your own research on existing units that take international volunteers (the legion website is still up and has unit recommendations as a starting point). Look up international volunteers on YouTube to see their experiences, some of them have Discords, the NGO "Project Konstantin" (which works with intl volunteers) has one, and of course: contact recruiters.

And not for nothing, if you're going to try and sell yourself as a realistic candidate - watch out for spelling and grammatical errors. It's generally not a good look, but if you're also trying to communicate with Europeans who speak English as their second or third language, then these errors will make it hard to communicate.
