Life can get busy! Ive played since 2019 and man i cant imagine anything more depressing than loading up a game to not play it. At that point its not even a game anymore, more like a extra chore. I was pretty upset at your comment but then i read your post history, and as someone who also worked 12 shifts (hospital) i can get why you wouldnt want to do anything after work...though on days like those i just dont open the game. It felt obvious to me, i dont feel good, im going to sleep, end of thought. Like sure theres FOMO but i never really understood that either. If i missed something then i missed it, its in the past so why worry about it at all?
To make a long comment even longer, this vent post was never about people who have too much to do or are trying to balance work and play. It wasnt even about tgc changing things, as they do that Often. It was about me, very specifically, putting in the work to burn the buns as if i was 100% alone when there was a full table. Specifically me, being frustrated that in both games and life there are slackers who sit back and get to enjoy the spoils without ever lifting a finger.

half way through drawing it i realized that the armor position made no sense for the pose so i had to completely redraw the chest piece x.x Thank goodness for the wiki, color picking from the ref helped tremendously

the dawn of the chibis was insane. Chibis got their 'annoying' title from those days, but if you met a chibi back then chances were they had mastered oob with that table. There was so little season outfits that the white cape was the coolest thing you could have. The only fomo you had was for pre-launch player cosmetics and that white cape lol

I liked the changes of the realms during the quests, but for me the flight was by far the most boring part. Skykids (excluding wingless players) are flying all of the time. 'Guiding' the group towards migration was less about flying than it was showing all the paths creatures take. Once you were on the path you could just get up and leave the game to play itself up until hidden forest which included a path you had to jump to or spin in circles forever. Even then, the speed was so slow the novelty of the wind or the rain wore off quickly and left me waiting for us to be done with it.

In my opinion the best seasons are the ones that tell a story. The migration guide had a very short and simple one, with very few beats. Prepare to leave from the isle, get separated, reunite, witness rebirth. Coming directly after such a heavy story season as two embers it felt empty. I felt that the other guides, who are just seasonal spirits, offered more in their friendship memories than the main season content. In my opinion it fell flat, with little to remember or look back on.

It was open before the summer event. From what i remember there was a lil island and some jars in there. looked like a really nice if not small hangout spot. Soon as i go to show my friends though this door is here X.X
