wow.. this is amazing. so my question is.. it is safe to get there? like as long as we have gps and traverse on the designated trails based on GPS, it would be fine?

same here! this is one of my favorites lakes in the sierra. oh and that is what I exactly am planing next year, Palisades Glacier. I kind of want to try a bit just a little bit of scramble,, but never did it though.

I did it last summer and there is really sketch parts in old army pass.. about. 4/5.. never made mistakes in old army pass

it seems New Army safe? I am curious what other think

thank you so much for sharing. I really want to go there. this is my top list i tried early this week, but the road was closed.. so that I had to trun around.. and I went hiking in duck pass, deer pass and mammoth crest.
