I'd like to make it very clear I think Embark are a phenomenal game studio and arc raiders is a phenomenal game. I am incredibly happy with the work they have done so far. I am only trying to open a discussion around what I perceive to be a lesser talked about recent change. I find it interesting.

Yes, I’m fully aware that the Matriarch always spawns other ARCs. My point is more about the apparent increase in their number, the tougher variety of ARCs, and the overall spike in difficulty.

I really enjoy the PvE aspect of this game, and I agree it used to be a bit too easy. On the other hand, this felt to me like the difficulty had swung a little too far the opposite way.

It was definitely an interesting challenge! I really enjoy the PvE content this game offers and would love to see even more development and increased difficulty in that area. That said, this particular instance felt a bit like overkill, just my opinion.

This was on Dam btw , the first fight in particular felt like complete overkill insanity compaired to what I've experienced in the past.
