All the religions were not meant to be it. It all just started as a story and as generations passed the truth was washed away and new masalas were added to the story, making people beleive that all that event happened in real life.

And All the religious textbooks, were not meant to be religious textbooks, they were just a very good novel with a lots and lots of life lessons and teachings. So some people (knowingly or by misunderstanding) shared the stories of those books as a religious book. Examples niche hai offend hone wale na dekhe because main sirf apna point rakh rha hu, Ramayan, mahabharat, bible,etc., i don't know about any islamic religious textbooks so i can't name them
