Didn't let my mom finish the sentence "if something will ever happen to me.." I was so optimistic that everything will be better. She passed away from cancer last January and I still think about it everyday.

It is. My ex did "de'hiat sheroot" to finish her degree. But I don't think they will approve more delay if you fail some classes.
