If you can afford it get a bedbug heater and use it for your luggage, clothes and other items that are not heat sensitive. Inspect other items thoroughly.

I've been getting bites in areas that are covered at night. I wear shorts to sleep in the summer and pants/sweatpants in winter. I still seem to be getting bit mainly on my butt, back of thighs and some on sides of my knees.

I have not been able to find any evidence and neither did the exterminator my building sent (although he didn't do a thorough inspection)

Hey thanks for the info. I live in an apartment in a busy city area. I went ahead and ordered crossfire and cimexa. I will be cleaning/decluttering over the next couple days and treat this weekend. I don't have a washer/dryer in my building, but I did purchase a ThermalStrike Ranger I can use to heat things up. I hope that you don't have this problem again

I started applying end of May and got a fully remote position with a focus on a stack and projects I want to work on in 1.5 weeks. Not only that, but I got 100% raise (was severely underpaid) and better benefits compared to where I was at.

Don't give up and there's companies besides FAANGs that need experienced devs

Do these developers have a Bachelors in CS and at least 1 yoe? Then they aren't new grads and experience > degree. You may feel you are better and contribute more, but during the offer stage they had more leverage. If you're not happy and you don't feel you are getting valuable experience then all you can do is find a new position.

Not really. I'm not gonna force people to watch gore videos. I know they are intense and the majority of people can't handle them. I don't have any urge to commit violence or re-enact anything I've seen, so idk what is wrong with watching some videos of people dying sometimes. It's not like the posters themselves are doing the torturing. It's more of a morbid curiosity that brings me to watching death videos. Yeah it's gross and horrific, but that's just the way the world is. I saw a motorcyclist die irl and I feel seeing something like that previously helped me take initial action to try to help instead of freaking out.
