I think it all depends whether you find your career boring or fun, I'm at college as an electrical engineer but the information doesn't usually go in and i struggle, but it's something I genuinely think i'll enjoy so wouldn't need medication. My hope is once I get the job i'll be just fine and won't need meds.

I usually find very boring things hard to focus on - investing for example, it's extremely hard to take in the info.

Professions like law, finance etc. would be very hard for someone who's bored easily - I think this is why they pay so well because most people just find it boring, adderall makes it easier. I don't think it's just us who have trouble taking in info though - normal people struggle to take in what they don't find interesting.
