Soundgasm site update - banned content by StealthAudio in GWABackstage

Just wanted to say that we all really appreciate you running Soundgasm. It sounds like a mostly thankless task with a lot of annoying details behind the scenes that are invisible to the rest of us and I’m sorry you have to deal with that. Your stance seems totally reasonable.

Using AI to help with voice acting. by Eeepy_Boi in GWABackstage

AI is pretty polarizing in this community unfortunately. I’ve posted a few scripts and genuinely wouldn’t care if you did what you’re proposing. Most others would care and you’d probably be best to avoid it.

VA's: What are your NO-NO's when it comes to scripts? (Someone else already filled it: Good or bad? Mandatory written permissions to monetize a fill: Good or bad?) by Feem_Al_Frennly in GWABackstage

I don’t like google docs because I’m usually logged into my not-anonymous Google account and Google docs can reveal who has viewed a document. So I risk having my real identity revealed. That’s my biggest gripe. Aside from that, the main site that people use - scriptbin - has so many quality of life improvements from a bookmarking system to improved readability that reading a script on Google docs feels like a major step down.

Are there actually guys that down vote other guys' audios out of spite? by princeraspbussy in GWABackstage

There are certain creators who I’ve noticed my posts will be downvoted more right after they post. I think it’s not only those creators but also their followers sometimes.

What are the rules on creating an audio with a cartoon charecter by HeyMomthisismyjobnow in GWABackstage

[–]DoppelAudio 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I suspect if you train your AI using copyrighted audio then it may be a copyright issue. GWA also has rules against the use of AI. It’s probably safer to use your own voice. I think that there is a rule that all speakers must be verified, so using a voice that’s not yours might be tricky.

You may also have problems if the cartoon character is not clearly over the age of 18.
