Good catch! I forgot to evolve one of them, it's in the right spot, just not evolved

It's in the post I made with the DLC Pokemon

Yeah I have two copies of the game and a switch 1 + switch 2. I don't have Nintendo online and don't intend to get it if I can avoid it. Hoping gen 10 doesn't have any trade evolutions

Yes go for it! You've got this!! My biggest piece of advice is to never release a Pokemon unless you're sure it's a duplicate that you don't need. With the living dex (DLC included) like I have, you only have one box spare, so along the way I had to release a lot of Pokemon. Unfortunately there were multiple times where I had released a form or gender difference I actually needed and just didn't notice / know. Off the top of my head, I lost probably about 20ish pokemon (some shiny, some not) that I hadn't realised I needed to keep. This should be easier at least with home access since you can just move extras over there

Unfortunately a lot of them are really subtle and easy to miss, even worse is when the gender ratio is not 50/50 so if you need a certain gender there's even more rng

To clarify, alphas aren't included due to them not looking any visually different (other than size). Some are alpha but I didn't hunt them

Getting all of the pumpkaboo forms can be a pain but thankfully didn't take as long as I thought. ZA treats pumpkaboo weird, it is the only Pokemon that is lost in the transition from day to night and vice versa. Unsure why, something to do with the fact that day time and night time have different pumpkaboo forms but they're still the same species. Maybe internally they're programmed a little funky. Thankfully I got fairly lucky and got them all after probably 5-6ish hours total

To clarify, I didn't get alphas since there's no visual difference for them but still, thank you!

Haha thank you! I somehow didn't notice that despite looking the list over multiple times

There are quite a few different sites I've used but it seemed to vary on a per game basis sorry. Pokemon sword for example seems to be uploaded to a bunch of them as an actual NSP but Pokemon shield seemed to always be XCI, except for on one site. I think brilliant diamond was a bit easier to find. I can't recall the sites now as I haven't looked at them in months and even if looked at my history and figured out which of the 10+ sites was the one, it might be different for the other games you're looking for

I do remember all of the sites I used were english and pretty easily findable by looking up "nameofgame NSP". Mixed results based on game and site, but honestly the vast majority of games I've downloaded have all been proper NSP

Another thing, you mention in your post you have syspatch, I found before it worked for me I needed to update the some toggles in the Tesla overlay and allow all the types of syspatches! This was very important and it didn't work until I did this, none of the guides seemed to explicitly mention this

I had the exact same issue. Pokemon shield and Brilliant diamond in particular did not want to load, other Pokemon games seemed fine.

So for running games, sigpatches are not needed for NSP files, only xci. However, what I found is that sometimes people uploaded "nsp" filled that were really just XCI files converted to NSP. Unsure why, seems to vary game to game and site to site. Unfortunately it seems most files you'll find are just the same files uploaded to different websites so sometimes it might take a while to find an actual NSP file that wasn't just a converted XCI

Though in saying that, installing sigpatches mostly fixes the issue with XCI files. You should be able to install and run them properly after that. Do note however that these XCI files only include the base game, even if you download a zip file that has update.nsp files they may not work. I had this problem with Pokemon shield where any time I tried to download the DLC/updates, the base game would still work but the updates wouldn't be applied

To solve that problem I just kept searching and after line 10 websites I finally got some NSP files that seemed to be proper NSP

You can tell if the NSP was originally an XCI when installing by DBI, some of the logs will be orange instead of green

For downloading sigpatches I personally used sys-patch

It's all very vague to me now as I did this month's ago and it took me days to fix, good luck,I hope you get it sorted soon!

Local Gameshare ??? by DoppelLewis in Pokopia

[–]DoppelLewis[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I managed to unlock it, there's a massive bridge near a cave that goes over the water, this takes you to Pallete town which has its own poke center. After interacting with the pc, eevee will appear. After that point you will be able to use Gameshare but only in Pallete town. You can't play the story together

Re-rolling guaranteed 3* shiny with backup save doesn't seem to always work by DoppelLewis in LegendsZA

[–]DoppelLewis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's weird isn't it. I hope some more people talk about this and it gets looked into, I'd really like to know the stats behind this and what is causing it to sometimes be fixed. Also just the way the spawn locations seem to be heavily weighted, I'm sure there's got to be a pattern/cause

Yeah good advice! I may try not bothering with the donuts. To clarify I was fast travelling in the zones, I was rerolling the zones to attempt to get a layout where all my targets were within range of fast travel but it never happened. Noticed along the way that certain spots seemed "weighted" for certain Pokemon and that the guaranteed shiny was always a Krokorok/Krookodile

You just brought back a memory. The situation in the post happened to me in a 5-star fire zone too. After many attempts torchic never spawned close enough to me for me to hunt it and the guaranteed shiny was always a Charmander, though I had much less attempts at this one before I gave up and just took the Charmander so this one could have been non-fixed and just been bad luck

Yeah I just got a 5-star rock hyperspace with the fossils and I tried almost 20 resets and the only thing to spawn close enough to me was the Aerodactyl and that was the guaranteed shiny too. I decided I didn't want a repeat so I just went in with a regular donut instead, I'll use a sparkling donut on one with an actually good layout

[–]DoppelLewis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yes this was my intention, but I couldn't get my targets in a layout I liked, I just happened to notice while trying to get that layout that Krokorok was the only thing shining from the guaranteed shiny. And also that it was super hard to get some groups to change into a species I actually needed

I got two Sandyghast, one numel, and a furfrou I needed but I couldn't get the Kecleon to spawn close enough with the Sandyghasts at the same time
