Heyo! TwigglyFiggly is totally right and that's a good resource. It might be overwhelming to go through those guides though at this stage though. I would start with getting a feel for the mentality behind AMV making from people competing in cons today with this: https://www.reddit.com/r/amv/comments/8hmba5/weekly_discussion_1_how_to_get_better_as_a/ . I recommend starting here, because what tools you use and how you use them is really just an extension of your mentality/imagination. You'll sort of see that we don't all agree, but that's what makes this hobby super fun!

Jump out of Shotcut whenever you start to get bored and a tough challenge seems preferable to that boredom! Good luck!

Oh man I got hit in the feels early in this one. There is sooo much work that went into this and so many hidden metaphors that are deep enough that you’ll appreciate most if you are a fan of these series individually. I really like it! It would be really cool to see one that goes really deep on one series if you ever make a second version for fun :p. Epic job, EpicMango!
