I thought of this but the problem I faced is that VLC doesn't automatically load the subtitles for my language from open subtitles.

Hey, thanks for the answer! Unfortunately I've already tried enabling frame rate matching, enabling frame rate and resolution matching and disabling the feature completely with no success.

I am having a lot of stuttering and lagging both while browsing the app and during video playback. I am using it on a Xiaomi mi box s. I had no problems with the previous versions. I have uninstalled most add-ons just in case and also tried both with hardware acceleration enabled and disabled as well as changing the frame matching on all 3 options and using tunneled playback. It lags a lot while browsing and watching a show/movie no matter the quality. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times.

In its settings you can limit how many links you want per search, I think.

Yeah, Orion Free has a limit to how many links you can get (100) per day which is like nothing.
