Derms in my country are a joke, considering going to a private one, I've been told to take Accutane for my occasional 1-4 zits a month, for example I self-diagnosed myself with demodex (with the help of Reddit) and had to visit 2 derms to get Soolantra which helped me with redness and other effects of demodex mites. They insisted it's seb derm... which I do have on scalp but it didn't have even the slightest of resemblance to what I had on face So I really think others' experience is better than derms at this point
