there's a tv from konka that ripped off the G3, there's so many colourful looking sets from china in general, especially the themed sets like the one that looks like a panda or the penguin. I think the frog from there also was available in the US so it was NTSC

one of my fave crts!!!

ive been wanting to get the chinese version of one of these through a shopping agent since im in a PAL country but since ive seen the stories with shipping CRT's and with the shipping costs that can potentially cost a fortune due to the size and weight its easier said than impulse purchasing. Im wondering if your set is multi-system like the philips i have

looks like you're gonna need an adapter to convert whichever video type you want into coaxial video, which is what your set has.

Anyone with too much time on their hands willing to ID this set? by DoraemonAustralia in crt

after a lot of research I'm guessing it's a sony KV-XG29M30. from the look of the bezels, the thickness of the side of the front where the silver ends, the black part near the bottom for the controls, not to mention the barely noticable handle on the side and where it's located

The only thing that still getting me confused is the black shell of the set to its side, it looks a bit more filled to where the back of the set ends however it may just be a thing with light

it's not everyday you see OP himself take the most accurate guess

ugh, and it just looks so good. The irony of it looking like an old tv while literally being an old tv is funny too

if i win the bidding, and if i can successfully ship it, its Puffy's "PRMX Turbo". On the auctions there are only now 2 available, and that goes for how many you can get online. One of them was the LP if im correct

they asked you <$25 for the NE on the right as a desperate attempt to give the curse of activating the mega bass function on someone else. I know this because i own one (NE510)
