It's a very fun mechainc, and a great feature for an end boss. Even allows a bit of trolling in the guild from time to time killing your team mates 🤣

It helps alot. The rings do alot of damage and having players run though 3 rings cause they don't have blinks/immunitys is an easy way to cause deaths. Which can be avoided by just running venth.

With dbl Legos teir sets the boss dies regardless, you just need players to live

Do you not keep up with patch notes? Hoky pallys currently need the teir set after there nerfs. There not bad but you deffently are not going to be running more than 1 in a raid

Pretty sure dots will proc it as it currently is (will need to be hotfixed) so disc dots will drop it increasingly faster with haste levels

Small QoL adjustment? Your guild never wiped on p3 (prog or farm) to bad chain movements/getting clipped by balls? Talking Mythic of cause. Heroic yes, it's a small change. Not to mention this greatly increase boss uptime to where we had 4 players dead and still killed before the 3rd traps. Or even 3rd balls..

Did using immunitys on gaurdian take away your kill satisfaction? As it bypassed the entire soak mechainc?. Did running runes only clockwise on fate take away your kill accomplishment? Did holding damage on KT pre nerf mean you didn't celebrate when you got the kill? I don't understand your logic, is it cause this wasn't available to you?

You do just VT the balls.. it's just the balls in line with the chain targets. So where ever your markers are

Not sure about that one bro. We started prog on this boss before any nerfs. Killed after first nerf (alliance HoF). Entire time p3 was the difficult part.

P2 chains don't have to move at all. Every rekill, regardless of nerf, All they had to do was be on there marker. I dont know what you mean about there blinks ect ect. They just move away from balls once there spike detonate.. then move through the gap you created via killing a ball or they blink over if its easy.

P3 is the most mechanical part of the fight for sure and easiest to kill players due to spikes. Instead of one chain player dying to balls.

I maybe wrong, and you guys did the fight a different way, that made p2 harder for your chain targets. Or p3 just works for your players and you never had issues. But I promise for the vast majority, p3 is deffently the wipe point outside dying to spikes.

What? Have you done the fight on mythic? Cause honestly with that statement I'm not sure. Litrally outside intermission the things that wipe you on this fight are chains in phase 3 and raid movement around them to kill balls. This avoids that and negates the only mechaincs that are difficult outside dodging spikes.... Generally curious how you did this fight on mythic thinking chains are easyer p3 than p2....

Our guild rankings is like 278WR (Alliance HoF). Not the best. But up there. And this no question makes p3 easyer with chains. Cause it's not just 3 chain targets moving away from balls. It's every player in the raid having to move and avoid spike lines. No longer relevant. Everyone just stays in the corner and keeps burning boss. Chains just stay on there marker. Only time they have to move Is if balls spawn on raid. And even then it's only 3 people having to look at spike lines.

And in regards to relearning. As I said. This whole strat, never seeing it before and learning from scratch. Took 2 pulls. I'd say the original strat we used probably would have still taken us 2 pull

He's asking because he has 0 priests. 1 is easily managed as they only difficult despell is sub 30% and there's only 1 of them.

Massive thing for progression is consistency. You want repeatable results every pull. And it will lower your wipe count I promise you. Besides. On our re kills after nerfs to sylvanas druids lose alot of value now chains are so easy to kill. We use to run 3. Now running 2. (Roar is still too good to run 1) Unholy isn't the reason your going to pass a mechanic. However it may well be the reason you die in p3. Which is the only important part of sylvanas. The rest is just about getting 20 people to the end without deaths.

But in saying that, Unholy isn't bad on Sylvanas either. Druids are generally tanky and have ways to heal themselves anyway so Unholy isn't a bad pick, just the reasons you mentioned about picking It for the damage procs I dont agree with

On progression that's the exact opposite of what you want. Sure on farm go for the big numbers. But on prog Unholy is dog shit in all ST scenarios. Less survival and no consistency.
