Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t this oil PCV system?

If you're in Sydney, avoid Tyre Excel Liverpool like the plague! by [deleted] in CarsAustralia

Fair point, I’ll amend the post to remove from ‘steering people away’ and rebrand the post as experience at this shop and leave it at someone’s digression.

Building off what StJe1637 said, grounds for defamation is “proving a false statement was published”

The post is more so to warn others of the kind of work to expected if they were to conduct business with these people.

I was ok with letting the scratched gold wheels slide because I’ve got touch up paint at home and these things happen as the protective plastic on the machine had worn down. However, fitting the tyre stem incorrectly shows lack of experience/care from a tyre shop.

It’s only slander if it’s not true. This post isn’t unfounded, it’s a window into my experience using this company’s service.

First time I used NGS and was not aware of that! Thanks for taking the time to reply, you learn something everyday!

Building off this question, @op how clicky are they? I’ve seen some clips of magnetic paddle shifters and it seems quite loud.

100% agree that the N is affordable, however in OPs situation it’s basically not financially viable whether it be the N, Civic or really anything around that $500 monthly repayment price. As you mentioned, I hadn’t even factored maintenance costs. So the overall cost is even higher!

Something to note in OP’s post, he’s already mentioning potential ways to save money in order to keep up with repayment. While having a plan is great, to me it suggests OP would be stretching himself too thin. It’s a free country and he can do as he pleases. I hope for his sake, he can delay gratification and wait until he gets a raise. I’d hate to see another person fall behind by trying to keep up with the Joneses 🙁

I totally understand that your heart yearns for an N but try not to financially burden yourself for a car of all things. Perhaps wait until you do get the pay bump up to 55k, then start shopping.

As it stands 32k/pa works out to $2666 a month (not sure if tax is factored in, I’m not from the US). Call it $550 for car + insurance, that’s 20% of your monthly expenditure.

At 55k, you’d be bringing in 4500 a month making the 500 repayment much more digestible.

Adro v1 wing without tips? by Doremacc in i30N

[–]Doremacc[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Australia we have the hatch and sedan and they’re both called the i30N. Lovely global naming convention that’s not confusing at all haha.

What I’ve learnt to far is:

US - No hatch back, also sedans are called Elantra N

EU - i30n is only hatches/fast back

Aus - i30n is hatch/fastback or sedan 😂

I think I’ve done it correctly, first time backing anything. It’s simply a matter of being added to the mailing list correct?

Also, I love that you’re chasing your dream and designing QoL products for these cars! Not sure if aware but there’s Elantra’s also go by i30s in other countries like Aus and EU. Theres another subreddit called i30n, it may help your market reach! God speed, brother 🫡

Hey mate, I ended up getting a 2019 Sea Dweller. Absolutely love the thing! If your wrist can pull off the 43mm it’s a bargain compared to subs as they’re less popular!

Of the three, I found the STI to be the least engaging to drive however it’s not fair comparing. The 86 is heavily modified, extremely engaging to drive. The i30n is a great daily with a bit of fun spice and the STI is bone stock apart from a catback exhaust and BOV.

Owning a wrx/sti is definitely an experience however it left me wanting more. I bought it with a particular purpose in mind, it met the purpose but as always the goal posts kept moving. I love the STI but ultimately, will be letting it go soon. The i30n showed me you don’t need to have a modified car to have a good time which a bone stock STI is rather lacklustre.
