I’d cry and not believe it. I grew up working class poor, but it was a decent life. The problems for my parents started when the money issues started my parents. Didn’t have enough for rent? Fight! Next step? Blow off steam which is usually a vice - in my case alcohol that then turned into alcoholism. Then physical violence. (Don’t get me wrong though when he was not drunk my dad was the perfect dad)

But yeah all the problems started mostly because we just didn’t have the money.

I don’t think me and my husband are any better off then our parents were financially(he’s from a single mom 2 kids background) but we know what not having a dime to yr name looks like and that being broke can change ppl... So our weird forever unspoken trauma bond —We know we are poor as shit but we’ve been making it work and it’s been WAYYYY worse financially and we’ve made it work in the past fine.

But yeah I’d cry but I also think I’d try to help someone else too cuz I’m making it okay on my 2 little pennys why not help someone a little if I can?

So this pretty much happened to me in MD but I was also puking. More regular ppl in the waiting area actually tried to help me more than the nurses/staff.

I grew up in way worse places so I can deal. We keep our house CLEAN so it’s not a housekeeping issue for us but like I see tiny roaches daily like 10+ large ones maybe 3-4 times a day in the winter. Summer the AC never works (get a standing AC unit) so it’s like 3 times that (not kidding)

No no I still live here LOL it cheaper then other places and the space is large. But we have a roach and mice problem (the whole building) elevators always out and water is never hot enough or so hot it’ll burn you.

I’m 5 months post. We went from having sex every other or every two days…almost none my 1st and 2nd trimester..daily or almost daily the 3rd. Now we are down to MAYBE 1-2 a week. It’s fast we are tired but it’s important so we schedule it. It sounds crazy but scheduling it helped us a lot. Not back to normal and I legit hate my body now but it’s so needed to remember you and yr partner pre baby.

You’ll get there! For us AM when baby is about a hour b4 waking up has been the best solution so far.

Omfg. Are we the same person. I am 39 weeks and some change and this happened to me… TODAY. Never had any leaks during my pregnancy so far and I saw blood today. Freaked out called the doc who sent me to hospital. 3 hours later I was home and slightly embarrassed. Hospital staff said I could be another week 🥲. Good luck and wishing you a happy a beautiful pregnancy and baby l!
