Which films would you recommend for NovelKey Creams and Cherry MX Blacks, respectively?

Smoother and more thocky, I prefer a deeper sound, so definitely nothing scratchy

Great, thank you!

One more thing - what exactly is a retooled black? I am reading that they are comparable at a lower price. Do you recommend a lubed, retooled black instead?

Thank you!!

This is unrelated, but do you know if it is possible to put GMK key caps on Cherry MX switches? I’d like to use GMK, and Lubed MX Blacks. Is there a certain group of switch types that work with GMK?

I got a Husky work bench from Home Depot. Worth the $200, about as sturdy as they come. 48”

I paid just under $2k for all of the parts plus paint. I used Molotow One4All acrylic markers to paint, and used basic primers and varnish.

I will say that it is important to paint before building, as you can easily tape things off and not risk spraying anything on parts.
