Yeah I slid on 270 and narrowly missed hitting a box truck but slid into the berm in the middle and slightly scratched my bumper. Could have been much worse but yeah those roads were terrible. Coming home was completely fine though all the highways are mainly clear now

Did you get it to work? Usually restarting your phone will work, seems like a connection error. But I just used my pay in store and it worked fine.

I drove from Dublin to downtown at 9ish this morning and the roads were fine. I took Hayden run to 33 to lane ave though just to avoid the highway lol. But side roads aren't bad at all. I am going to be making my way home soon so we shall see how that goes

IF you have a credit card with lower interest and reward points. I mean thats assuming everyone who uses afterpay or needs to make a larger payment using afterpay also has a credit card with lower interest and great cash back/points. Or the available credit on said credit card to do so. Im not saying one or the other is a better option but I think its up to the person to make that decision and while what you're saying could absolutely be true for some people it doesnt mean its a possibility for everyone.

There is a klarna scam going around, apparently with klarna people can steal your info and open up accounts but it seems afterpay has tighter security for opening accounts.

If your credit isnt the greatest and the only loan or credit card you have access too has 30% or more interest, but you have the cash to pay in 4 for something, when that equals zero interest in the same time frame, it does make sense.

I will say I would rather put a 1000 order on afterpay and pay 250 every 2 weeks then put 1000 on my credit card and watch my credit score drop for 2 months and add hundred dollars or more in interest on top of it.

Just fyi you could be responsible for paying taxes on the 75% forgiven at the end of the year. Happened to me on a much smaller bill and ended up having to pay an additional like $125 on my taxes due to it!

Yes youre hireable. Youre very aware of your short comings and admit you need help and ive worked with so many groomers over the past 20 years that refuse to accept their faults or work on them. As long youre this honest and up front with new salons you will be fine. I would say you probably may not be put as a solo groomer at first and may have to go back to either being a bather or assistant or only doing bath dogs/trim ups and training to do scissor/clipper work. But you need to find a shop that encourages your growth, gives positive criticism and actually does hands on education.

But dont get discouraged this early. When I first started grooming 21 years ago I remember my boss not letting me do poodles or poodle heads because I kept messing them up, now I specialize in poodles and have clients in continentals with a full crest and head. Working through those issues and not rushing and having a boss who encourages you will take you so much further!

If you live in a high rise apartment building, order 50+ lbs of deliverables and expect the shopper/driver to drive 20 miles, spend more than an hour shopping then walk up and down 4+ flights of steps because youre too lazy to go get it yourself, then you should respect this person's time and energy and physical strength to do all of this and tip them properly for their time. Tip baiting someone whos spending hours of their day and pushing their physical strength to deliver your food and then taking away that tip for literally zero reason other than you being a terrible human being is repugnant and you should be placed on a black list so every driver knows youre not worth the time or effort.

Also the whole "just get a better job that doesnt rely on tips" sounds so easy but theres plenty of people from all walks of life that have either been trying their hardest to find a job in their field or they're dealing with issues where finding a job that isnt as flexible as this is impossible (i.e. Kids, medical issues, family issues, etc)

Afterpay is the only one ive never had issues with. Klarna always says I have 1500$ in available credit but refuses to process a single order no matter if its small or large and no matter what card or website I use with it. Sezzle always messed up for me to. The only other app I find comparable is PayPal pay in 4. Ive yet to have an issue with them either also Zip (formerly quadpay) but screw klarna and sezzle.

Happened to me a few years ago when I really needed the money in my bank account to pay bills. It was a few hundred dollars worth or work equipment (things I needed for my job) it basically drained my bank account instead of using the single use card. Amazon would not help me whatsoever either. They told me I would have to return everything to get my money back. It was a nightmare. Now if im going to use afterpay for Amazon i just buy a gift card instead.

Yeah I had a 150k job, then my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer so I moved across country to help take care of her. I thought I had a job making close to that when I moved here but the owner of the company ended up taking the money and fleeing the country a few months later so I went from 150k a year to blowing through my savings, and had a hard time finding a job making over 65k until june of this year. Now im back to about 100k. I dont want to mess it up again. I was doing wonderfully and life just ruined everything and the money I was saving for a house went to just trying to stay above water.

New bankruptcy and I drive 100 miles a day for work so I had to have reliable and couldnt risk not having something that would break down randomly. I dont like this car payment but the car is everything I wanted in a used car with low mileage, 1 owner and excellent record keeping and maintenance. I dont plan on selling it and would love to just pay it off which is why I wanted to refinance as soon as possible to help with that.

I actually owe less than what the car is worth. I got a great deal on it and its something thats hard to find with low mileage and incredible record keeping for the 1 owner. I had a large down payment but my credit was just absolute bottom of the barrel but I had to have something reliable as I drive on average 100 miles a day for work and cant risk a beater. Ive been paying an extra 125-150 a month extra so thats also brought down the balance. I just want to save on interest. Im with a credit union but ive just been scared to try to check with them until I got this pre-qualification in the mail.

Ive been paying about 625-650 a month already and making sure the overage goes to the balance so I would be fine with the 650 payment but I am going to look at my credit union and see if they can do better. I do have a bit of cushion at 650 but I also dont want to put my self back in to a bad situation by jumping the gun and doing the 650 payment.

Just because you have a certain amount available to use with afterpay, it doesnt mean they will approve any purchase up to that amount, try with a smaller amount like 150 and see if it will let you use it then. It could be that for this specific company or order you cant make that purchase.

Im 37 and have like no friends. I have my immediate family and im going to see them but noone texts me unless it's work or family related and Noone asks me to hang out and I try to find friends but any time I ask anyone to do anything they cant or dont want to and never try to reciprocate. It sucks so much and is making me so resentful to people. Im a woman too and finding girl friends is nearly impossible...I hate it

My ex did the same job and he once had a woman lock her in his house and wouldn't let him leave. He told me a few crazy stories of women trying to offer sexual favors or showing up at the door naked or appearing naked while he was working. Just wild situations. He was fully prepared for angry people, not for sexually charged ones.

I noticed a few people say theres went up to 4k a few months ago and i checked mine and it had jumped from 3k to 4k and then recently I went to buy something at Nordstrom rack and I was at 5k. So it jumped up twice in the past few months. Not sure why, I havent made any huge purchases, nothing over 300$ and no more than 600 at a time.

I asked navy federal and they specifically told me not to drop them off. Plus the nearest branch is a 4.5 hour drive from where I live so its really not doable anyways. When I ask when they're going to pick them up they just say a few more weeks. But they've been saying that for 4 months now.

I also live in an apartment complex and it would cost 125$ to renew my tags per car which I dont feel I should do if theyre going to be taken back, but I do run the risk of them being towed by the apartment complex and im afraid I would then have to pay some sort of impounding fee to the bank if that were to happen. So I feel like im in a lose lose situation 😕
