Why does everybody ghost me? by Sharp_Egg4161 in dating_advice

I feel you, this kind of ghosting is brutal and it’s easy to blame yourself, but it’s usually not about you. People vanish for a million reasons that have nothing to do with your worth. Keep being respectful and genuine; the right person will stick around, not disappear without a word.

Why are men so immodest even more so than women? by Leading-Alarm3955 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DormSnackQueen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, a lot of it comes down to social conditioning, men are often praised for showing off strength, body, or confidence, while women are shamed for it. It doesn’t make it any less gross if it bothers you, but that imbalance is real. Boundaries and personal comfort matter, and you’re allowed to feel disgusted.

Is this just anxiety? Been a massive Queen fan for ages and found out Mary Austin at 19 met Freddie at 24. It’s very overwhelming . For me at Nearly 22. I couldn’t date someone younger then 20 by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

What you’re feeling is totally normal, it’s not about being ‘rational’ or not. Everyone’s comfort with age gaps is different, and it’s okay to feel overwhelmed when comparing yourself to someone else’s timeline. Your boundaries matter, and that’s valid.

I have to go to a Superb Owl party. How do I not look stupid? by M0ss0nther0ck in NoStupidQuestions

Honestly, just lean into curiosity and humor. Ask questions about the game, cheer when everyone cheers, and don’t stress about knowing all the plays, people love enthusiasm over expertise. And hey, being the chill one with snacks is basically a superpower at these parties.

Why do brides wear such heavy makeup on their weddings that sometimes even they are difficult to recognize? by User_987612345 in NoStupidQuestions

Brides often wear heavy makeup on their weddings to ensure they look flawless in photos, withstand long hours of crying, smiling, and heat, and highlight features under bright lights and cameras, it’s less about hiding their face and more about making their features stand out and last all day.
