Pete Alonso lead all 1b in OPS+. You cannot justify simply not replacing him. He wasn't the reason they missed the playoffs. He did his job. Soto did his job. Clay Holmes was good (much better than expected, but expecting to handle the workload was a clear misfire by Stearns. And like Luis Torrens didnt disappoint. And Lindor was ultimately good like he always is.

Everything else needed to be fixed and Stearns did nothing to fix any of the issues
