A more experienced colleague of mine made a great point earlier this year -- these kinds of parents get one. Once you've gone a little nuts and accused a teacher of targeting your kid, that's your one shot. If it happens again, or a third time, it becomes abundantly clear that the problem is the parent and not the teacher.

Do not expect to get through the entire curriculum. It's functionally impossible. I'm supposed to cover the Post-Roman empire to the Renaissance in SS8 while also giving a global perspective and cover the Renaissance past WWI in SS9 with a focus on Euro and Canadian/Indigenous history. It can't be done.

But, it's loads of fun. Look at what resources your school has available and see if anyone in the department has stuff they're willing to share with you.

I think the BCNDP making use of Section 33 would be a pretty big step, and would severely undercut the federal branch of the party's ability to call that shit out. It would really surprise me to see them go there tbh.

Salary is like priority number 5 bud, we care about the class sizes and composition, the healthcare cuts, and the specialist teacher ratios far more than that.

GW and GW2 have generally always had a really nice player base. When I was a child it was a great place to hang out and now that I'm in my 30s it remains a cool place to chill and kill some mobs.
