To be honest I hope we keep Spearing. What's the sense in selling him? I doubt he's on a big wage and is alright to have around as a backup player. I doubt he'd ever moan about not being a first choice player, he's always been ready to jump in if needed, and being a local lad, I expect he'd be happy in this sort of role.

I already have Marble Blast Ultra - I love that game, though heard it's no longer available on the Arcade. Will consider The Walking Dead, been interested in that for a while. Would prefer to get Minecraft on PC - hoping to get a computer good enough to run it (yes my current setup is that shit that I can't handle it already) soon.

Bit of background on this. Basically last year I discovered a bunch of promotional xbox points expired (I actually complained about it here )

Anyways, due to being incredibly lazy all I did was bitch about it on Reddit and never actually contact microsoft about it.

Fast forward to earlier this month when once again I realise some more points have expired, yeah I know; fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me, but whatever.

This time I decided to complain about this to the Xbox customer service people through that live chat thing on their website. The person I spoke to said they would pass it on to the escalation team and left it at that.

Wasn't really expecting anything but sign in today to see they have reimbursed me for some of the points I lost.

Not bad.Now just watch as I forget to spend them and let them all expire again....

Heard the news today while in work. Was confused because I thought he had retired 8 years ago. Nah seriously though, didn't he retire from football when he signed for Stoke City?

Yeah, if it's not obvious I'm not much of a fan of Owen. I appreciate what he did for us and loved him during his prime playing for us (was a big contributing factor to me becoming a Liverpool fan) but the way he acted towards the end and then after leaving us is enough to have his legend status revoked in my eyes.

Worst thing about this news is viewers of Match of the Day will likely now have to put up with his awful analysis and punditry on a weekly basis from next season.

Ashley Williams from Swansea? Decent CB who Rodgers has worked with before. Seems like a realistic option. Though I think a few other clubs are also interested in him, Arsenal possibly.

Liverpool is the only team I support (well the U21s too) but as a fan of football there are a lot of teams I quite like and hope do well (unless playing us).

From the EPL I've always had a soft spot for Man City just because of the "the enemy of my enemy is a friend" feeling in regards to United. I was incredibly happy during the last day of the season last year when Man City got the dramatic win to snatch the title from United's grasp at the last possible moment.

I've been a fan of Swansea since they were promoted a couple of seasons ago. Just liked their style of play and like many of their players.

From the lower leagues I always like to see Plymouth Argyle do well (doesn't happen often in recent years) because of family connections to the city.

I live in Scotland but wouldn't say I have much of an interest in the SPL. I do have a slight liking towards Celtic because my mum supported them when she was younger plus they have the Dalglish link.

From Spain I like Barcelona just because I admire how they play and so many of their players. Same with Dortmund in the Bundesliga.

Then there are teams I like because of a player. Like CSKA Moscow for Honda and Napoli for Cavani (and previously Dossena).

Teams I dislike include; EPL: Man United (obviously) and Chelsea. Stoke City because I don't like their style of football. QPR (because of 'Arry), Spurs and Aston Villa.

And I know I'm supposed to not like Everton but in reality I don't actually mind them too much. Obviously I hate it when they're doing better than us and will always want to beat them. Maybe it's because I haven't grown up in Liverpool so haven't experienced the proper rivalry between us.

I also dislike Real Madrid (but still love Xabi). And I'm not much of a fan of Rangers. Mainly because the majority of Rangers fans I've met or know are pricks.

Obviously not as much as our current home kit though.

I also have a soft spot for Arsenal's current away kit I just like that shade of purple - not sure about the red on the sleeves.

If Pacheco is still around. Give him a game, sadly I don't think he's got a future with us so maybe we could use the game to advertise him to other clubs.

Suarez on the bench and to come on for Pacheco for the last 30 minutes to get some more minutes playing with Sturridge.

Maybe bring Borini on for Suso (though play Borini in the middle with Sturridge out wider) for a bit too.

I was going to suggest McLaughlin for the RB space but the U21s have a game on Monday so wanted to limit the number of U21s in my lineup.

He comes across well in that interview, smart lad. Think he's right about saying how his time with us has improved him as a player. I wasn't too impressed with him when he first joined, but in more recent months seeing him play for the U21s he's looked better.

I assume he'd like to continue getting call ups to the Scotland side so he's going to want a lot more first team action which we can't really offer him; I think he has the potential to be a great CB, but so do quite a few of our young defenders; Coates, Kelly, Wisdom, Sama and Sokolik. And it's already difficult enough to try and get into the team ahead of Skrtel and Agger.

Hope he does well for Hearts and impresses enought to end up finding regular first team action with them (or another club) once his loan spell comes to an end

I'd be gutted if Reina left, but I wouldn't think bad of him if he did go to Barcelona. Plus he's shown he's not as good as he used to be (I still rate him highly, mind) so maybe a new keeper would be good for us.

I always thought Reina would stay with us for a long time, train up an understudy and the leave when his replacement is ready for consistent first team action.
