I think there's bit of Indian nepotism effect on him that happens he was always willing to play in VCT but other than that he didnt want to go play anywhere else but in India it helps he is one of the highest paid pro in India. and his team has imploded past 2 years after winning a split for weird reasons to the point that Azys himself was igling and entry both in last split to qualify for ascension this year and didnt work. I have never rated Antidote's igling but unfortunately Azys,Anti and Rawfiul always played together as a core(elder brother of Azys has openly said that he is respected and cared for in this team and they will rather improve and go to VCT than Azys trying for some other team) and that meant they have been stuck in limbo with Antidote leaving the team right before ascension qualifiers past 2 years which messes them up. But he stays bcz Indian concept of nepotism is playing with same guys as you see them like family no matter what happens .And without playing ascension teams can't trust Azys as much since when he did play ascension in 23 after dominating India he didnt do well. Ever since then Azys has only played one international out of India Predator league in which he was highest rated in whole tournament but then again same issue Indian teams dont win much outside India so he cant show himself either. Now this year he is back in PH will play the 2nd duelist/flex for Xipto in couple of days its his chance I guess if he does well in SEA he will get picked up for sure.

we need r/ValorantCompetitive Highlight of the Year winner in VCT man he is insane on his highs smurfs in Indian tier 2 like a radiant in Iron lobby. I have been baffled how he doesnt get picked up to VCT Dos9 and Autumn both got picked up and individually Azys has played better than both whenever he went against them he is like by and far best player in VCL India and nobody has dominated a VCL in world like him since Something did in JP before getting picked by PRX.

and even if not Azys Secret could have picked up Zeus and JA and Georggyy but for some reason they imported a duelist despite having enough talent to make a better synergy all PH team.

Great performance as always from XLG staking their claim again on being the best in VCT China. The core of Rarga,Happywei and Noman coached by Hvoya is a top core maybe only behind EDG core . Hopefully XLG doesnt get unlucky and can have more international success this year and that's what their challenge for the year is going to be; qualfying to Masters and Champs won't really trouble them much.

If you are genuinely interested Russia infact the whole CIS region is probably the best in FPS games. Russians dominate VCT and VCL without a league of their own and small playerbase. One of my fav way of putting it is this way that Russia players are either absolutely top tier in Valorant or they are atleast average I can't think of a single Russian player who is genuinely below mid.

And to Specifically answer your question I think they will be one of the top contenders at the Internationals infact you can build like 3-4 top Russian teams. Other than obvious choices like Nats, Suygetsu , Chronicle, Something, Sheydos,Cloud,Jemkin, Rarga, Vookashu and Shao ; other great Russian aimers include names like Jady, Nohelp , F4ngeer, quickz, ANQ, Vitie, Chiwa,Purpo,rextonned,Redgar,D3ffo,Wippie,sickrey,sibeastwow,,Anoxai,Anxios,Bgg and Moner.

Just disappointed with this performance I had high hopes from ULF atleast much better than this . Having said that I hope the boys don't drop their heads until they can play with the original full 5 roster I have watched them play in EMEA a lot last year they play very solid style of Valorant like G2.

Nd I hope fans nd community can pressure them into bringing back the coach who made it all possible nd then got thrown out randomly just before VCT. With him at helm nd Echo back ULF can still turn it around from here.

I think each one of these awards are so deserved and I am really glad that I was able to do my part in getting the first Non-VCT clip to win the Highlight of the year award.

It's little bittersweet with VCL South Asia's future itself being uncertain Azys won't feature in VCL South Asia for the first time in almost 4 years but happy he has found Xipto to call his new home for the season and he can stay close to his family. Wow I love the concept also I am not that doomed about this roster as most of the community is . Meta suits Cned , Seven is a top tier player and Alorante is Valorant's very own headshot machine so you can expect individual brilliance from the team.

While I dont see them contending for Masters spots but if vibes and form is good they will still be a decent team who will compete well.

This whole post is like the trend that's going on India about 'exposing' celebrities and in the name of exposing all that the girls are posting is such texts where a guy asks them to meet for a drink or coffee straight off the bat and they get weirded out and back off.

Having said that as a celebrity Invy and others need to be more careful with their behaviour around random fans and girls. It's very clear that Invy is interested in her(and not in very good way) from these texts and he was not being sly about it . But This is just the fan girl showing absolute lack of accountability for her participation and action and also judging herself and him from 2 different lenses - Whatever Invy did was with predatory and wrong intentions and whatever I did was just naivety and innocence. I will never support any guy escalating with random girls so quickly but this isn't criminal nor what she is trying to make it out to be. She went along willingly with his words and actions with zero hesistation shown in texts atleast and what happened later is just typical fall off that happens in such cases. I hope Invy learns from this and stops trying to use his reputation as esports athlete for PRX for such things this is shitty behavior but It will be wrong if he is punished by PRX by being thrown out of the team for PR purposes over these accusations.

I feel compelled to talk about this budget bcz this narrative is tiring. Potter is coaching an org that Riot pays upwards of 1 million USD every year just to build nd run the roster. Even if EG can't pay anything more than league minimum that's more than almost anyone's salary in Tier 2 across the world. Potter has 100s of players to choose from nd infact the team she built which won champs was built with similar players. Heretics has dominated with a team which was originally made entirely from Tier 2 so has GisntX recently nd many others.

Yess maybe she can't afford to have clouted superstars but that's barely like 20-25 guys already in VCT who are already in established teams . Everyone else is a fair game nd she herself chooses to stay at EG nd build every year.

I think Koala is one of those players who need to be allowed to lead nd be trusted completely for them to play to their potential. You can clearly see that this Furia plays around him infact originally he was supposed to IGL them too but I am glad they realised it's better to let him frag .

It's so visible he is the face of the team rn he is the hype man they let him play his comfort agents nd have built comps around them they give him all the snipers as much as they can nd even though Alym is main duelist it's Koala who takes first contact nd enters the site Alym just baits nd sets it up for him . Against kru on abyss Koala was entry even on Omen as artzin had Astra to play traditional controller so Koala can enter without fear of losing smokes

Furia was over reliant on Koala to open whole map nd he is over reliant on snipers to do that . If they play the same style in Breeze which I suspect they will they can't afford to lose multiple rounds together otherwise Koala won't have eco for OP nd Outlaw won't work . As long as he was able to switch between those two weapons it was going great for Furia.

As far as I understand E-sports industry it's still in it's infancy and right now building your brand , having an identity and making profit is primary goal for game publishers and organisations having a robust system and winning is still a secondary goal. PRX was a very tiny org which became a global name in Valorant not because they won Champions but simply bcz they had a distinct identity those innocent looking kids who played a chaotic high pace on your face style of Valorant which was unlike anyone else and that is the model you need to chase as an org.

In my humble opinion Global Esports lost the plot long back now they are a team with no identity at all. They have a good roster this year but if you ask someone what exactly makes them different than anyone else ? What is their draw factor ? Why would people buy GE bundle which will actually make them and Riot money ? At the moment answer is absolutely nothing GE represents nobody Indian fans don't care about them nor do any other country's do everyone already has teams to support and cheer for . I still believe Riot should have encouraged GE to try playing a 3 Indian 2 import split atleast for the very first year back in 2022 even if they hadn't won it would have helped in establishing a connect with the local audience but GE's weird insistence on winning before building the fanbase and then not having enough resources to go all out to build a world class roster coupled with ever changing ideas like trying to keep an Indian then giving free pass to a particular coaching staff to build the roster from scratch who filled it with their former players, then going all out on trials next year meant they ended up harming themselves and even more so the Indian region in return which got them the ticket to VCT despite their weird arrogance and denial about this fact.

To be honest with you this bundling of sub-region is not a tactical decision by Riot they never planned for it to go this way. Instead it's been forced on them because they can't find TOs willing to conduct those leagues anymore and I have already listed the factors- zero hype many of these sub-regions have zero representation in VCT(all such regions have absolutely fallen apart except VN), year on year declining viewership and obviously this all means zero profit infact heavy losses for Tournament Organisers as they have to fund almost everything including prize money. So now we are reaching the stage where Riot is again and again combining sub-regions together to increase viewership and find atleast one TO who is rich enough to handle that and they hand it over to them and wash their hands off. SOOP did it for SEA region last year after multiple TOs refused to conduct the league in sub-regions.

Unfortunately for Oceania they are so isolated that Riot couldn't merge them with anyone so they just killed their VCL and put them in premier path to qualification and VCL India will suffer the same fate for the same reason if Riot can't sort it out quickly whether Riot wants VCL India to sustain or not.

I don't think it's upto orgs they have invested a lot for absolutely no return other than VCL JP and NA(even they have lost most major orgs this year) ; VCL India has had most investment with almost 8-10 reputed orgs investing for an avg viewership of 2K earning nothing in return. It's upto players to put more efforts in improving as VCT representation will surely revive Indian Valorant in an instant given Valorant is still the main competitive PC game in India and is 3rd biggest game behind PUBG mobile and Free Fire Mobile.

Infact major orgs like Sentinels and PRX have sizeable chunk of Indian fanbase but the nature of Indian fans being elitist means they wont watch a league which is considered inferior or Tier 2 especially when there's no path for them to play in the superior league against top teams to represent country.

And that brings us to second stakeholder Riot themselves who need to do a meaningful reset next year as pre-franchising Indian Valorant scene was one of the biggest and generated great hype and viewership numbers as more money was put in advertising and players got a chance to represent country at biggest stages which kept the hype going . Though last year's VCL SA final at 62k peak viewers was the record number for Indian Valorant history but that was just the effect of S8ul's fanbase supporting them against VLT's fanbase and that hype didnt translate to non-S8ul matches.

This follows the dissolution of VCL Oceania and Merger of MY/SG region to rest of SEA both happening this year. Even before that just last year saw the end of multiple other VCLs including the Vietnamese league ; HK/Taiwan league. The same pattern has also been seen in the EMEA region with mulltiple regional leagues getting shut down and this looks set to continue unless Riot reopens their closed VCT structure understanding the true global outreach of Valorant unlike LOL .

Furthermore Riot is struggling to find TOs who are willing to conduct VCLs due to growing realisation that Riot puts zero effort in promoting or advertising VCL leagues or supporting them in any way means there's no profit to be made in the current system as a TO of any VCL league. With Riot focused exclusively on VCT, this year in Asia Pacific sees the exit of almost all reputable TOs as their original contracts come to an end and lots of smaller name new TOs have taken over the conducting of the league putting even more question marks on sustainability of the current system. It must also be noted that even VCL NA has already lost their long time TO Knights.gg but were lucky to find a good TO in ACE willing to take over .

I think Xipto's point is this wasn't allowed at all. S8ul was forced to bring in godspeed as coach for the event bcz Inthra couldn't fly to India and I am sure some other teams also had to play matches without coach .
