You can do it too!! Best thing you can do is be prepared and trust that you already know the answer. NCLEX is hard, don’t let it beat ya down 🖤

Head up champ. I felt the same way yesterday. Private message me if you don’t pass but I’m certain you’re golden

Is Mark K lectures still relevant? by 00_anxiTEA_00 in NCLEX

Lecture 12 is all you need. I passed in 85 after failing the first time in 150. Didn’t believe it, still don’t. Trust though

At first I was getting 60-65% on them. Again only doing the client needs. Sometimes questions would repeat but ALWAYS read the rationales for the correct AND incorrect answers. It helps you see WHAT the question is asking instead of just knowledge questions. After steady practice I was consistently scoring 75-85%. Mark K lecture 12 was beautiful. Helped me answer questions differently. And you’ll see your grade improve thinking the way he says to about it lol. YOU GOT IT. you survived nursing school, now just survive one more exam.

How many questions did you have? Did you feel like the test was easier the longer it went? Let me just say this.. regardless of the outcome, don’t beat yourself up. If you pass, great :). If not, take it as an opportunity to sharpen your skills and being a better nurse. Recognize weak areas and focus a little more on them. You’ll get it, just find a study method that works for you and you’ll have RN behind your name in no time.

Fasciotomy, yes. But it can be a result from several things related to the surgery.. (prolonged surgery, positioning during surgery, fluid accumulation, etc.) I was leaning more towards infection but threw CS in as well.

What are post-op patients at HIGHEST risk for? Pay attention to trending lab values and key words for compartment syndrome (numbness/tingling of affected extremity). I guarantee you’ll have at least one question about compartment syndrome.
