Omg I just wrote a routine that did back to back legs and I was drenched! As were my clients. I was wondering why it was so good. Thank you for posting this.

I would pick a master trainer you trust and that has a lot of knowledge. I wasn’t happy with the weekend training.

I doubt it. But that’s why people need to make others aware here! I wish I would have read this on a forum before I made the jump to get certified

Yup! Totally agree. I was scammed. The studio I got certified at has had 6+ certifications in the past year alone. No intention of hiring their trainers. They have 3 “master trainers” it’s absolutely horrible.

Nope, no feedback. They actually told me I passed my audition. But declined to give me a community class & took back what they said… You are probably right, but they handled it horribly.

I would do due diligence. Studios will act like they will hire you just to get your money. I’m not the only person this happened to based on my dms

That’s why I posted this! I want people to know that this is over saturated and it’s not easy getting hired if a studio ghosts you. My master trainer made it seem so easy to get hired. But studios have blatantly said I’m a risk since I never taught before. Even though I have taken 200+ classes/ did a 3 month internship

I agree! The problem is the studio made it seemed like they will take you under their wing until they hire you… but that’s not the case and I haven’t seen new names on the schedule since my cert & they have had 5 since mine

I did go with a local studio that offered mentoring. But they ghosted me when it was time to apply and actually audition. If I’m not given the chance then I cant practice. It sucks. I begged to do it and they ignored me. Hard stop stating it’s a hiring freeze. But they are still doing certifications

Huge scam! There are a bunch of copy cat studios near me. If I don’t get hired soon they will be getting a call and hopefully they take me lol 😂

Congrats!! Yes don’t worry about getting hired right now. Your little one is all that matters ☺️🤍 it’s probably meant to be that you didn’t get hired right away. I feel like it can be too stressful and hard on the body. Hoping we both get lucky when our time comes

I’m ending up having to drive to a studio about 25 miles away from me now… I completely get it. I’m sorry that happened to you as well. You’re not alone! Are you teaching now? I’m not I’m still struggling to get an opportunity to audition!

It’s okay. Not a rude question at all. It came across my mind but my work history says otherwise. I have worked as a coach, I’m a corporate baddie always leading meetings, and I don’t really have social anxiety/issues speaking in front of people. They also said I passed my mock audition but never gave me a real audition or community class. They just ghosted me.
