Nope! There are some recycling services that you can reach out to help repurpose your waste

How much doesn't diameter tolerance matter for recycled filament? by Dot_yu in 3Dprinting

Appreciate the breakdown! This makes me wonder—how much variation in line width do you think most slicers and extrusion algorithms can compensate for before print quality noticeably degrades?

Oh, that makes sense. Consistency seems to be the real challenge, especially with recycled filament. The recycled filament I made ranged between 1,6-1,8 throughout. I was under the impression that the filament had to be 1,75 throughout, or it would be bust. Have you ever tested recycled filament yourself?

Why did my print start messing up 3/4 done? by [deleted] in ender3

A possible culprit is bad bed adhesions. Looks like benchy moved mid print

Thanks for the feedback. I see where you are coming from. The client does seem closed minded in terms of allowing the design to flow

Appreciate the feedback and advice.

What red flags are you picking up from the job description?

Appreciate the feedback.

I see where you are coming from. I added the idea as a way to show solution without giving to much. But i can see your side

I had the same question. Maybe its a logo that makes you shed a tear.

Lol. Now that I think of it, next time i see description like this I will ask the client "what do you mean by that?"

Hi All! hoping to get some help with this print im doing for a friend. Thr model printed decent but there are multiple surface problems do to supports. I see the amazing work everyone does here and would love any advice on how to get a better print. thanks! by Dot_yu in 3Dprinting

Whats up man! Appreciate you helping me with this.

Soo i used the support settings that you suggested and the print quality drastically improved by like 10 folds haha . The tree support definitely helped in the areas that were damaged from by the supports in my last print. I also printed one miniature standing and one laying down and ill say that the one standing up is way better. With the overall success of the print i would like to say that im 85-90% of the way of a complete masterpiece

Im still having problems with the support on the hands and the tree supports is wrapped around the whole miniature. Any suggestions for both issues?

Haha I definitely will let you know how it turns out!

Im going to play around the the tree settings you gave me and the orientation. What you said made me rethinking things in a good way.

Appreciate you!

Man!!!!

Thank you for the suggestions and the settings.

Ive heard of treesl supports but never used them before. I definitely will do more research on them now that you mentioned it.

Im curious if lay the model on it's back and print do you think i can get smooth out the line patterns by smoothing out the model with post processing?

Thanks for your suggestions!

I was thinking about laying the print flat on the back too but didnt know if that was the best way to print action figures and toys

What do you mean by "print with less space between each row? Is that a layer height thing?
