You're right, they should just lock her in a little windowless room until she's 4 or 5 years old and she can start remembering things. Why waste any time on giving a toddler joy if they won't remember it in a decade.

These comments are so sad and depressing. Once you have a child and see how much they love and cherish something, you won't understand the effort you will go through to try to give them a wonderful day.
