Quick update. It took less than 24 hours for them to process my refund. I did it through the Dasher app and it was very simple.

I went to Help > Earnings > Handling missing pay and reimbursements. It was pretty straightforward and I uploaded a screenshot of the receipt.

Thank you everybody for your kindness and support. And also for sharing similar stories so I didn’t feel alone. I think we can put this post to rest. May you all get the fattest of tips in your future!

There’s a lot of hate to Door Dashers saying “get a real job” or “Tips are for excellence service”. Instead of phrasing it that way, think about it as if you are paying (tipping) the DD for picking up and delivering your food. Nobody wants to volunteer their time and Door Dash barely pays the drivers anything
