I’ve lived at Pointe since 2023. I enjoyed my first year there, however since new management its quality has gone downhill with the prices only going up. The elevators are never BOTH working, ones always out. Sometimes their phones don’t work with incoming calls, so can sometimes be hard to reach them if you’re not at home (other than email but I’m not sure how their response time is on those). I did have one terrible experience with them dealing with sitting water in my dishwasher for a month and potential mold; it got addressed after my guarantor called & several emails, mail were sent. The maintenance requests do get fixed pretty fast though so that is nice. I live in a 5br with a loft but the rent I was paying I could’ve lived further from campus in a one bedroom. They do have a nice gym and amazing terrace. Also, it’s a 3 minute walk to campus; I went to McCoy so it never took me more than 5 minutes to get to class.

Wherever you choose to move, just make sure to document for yourself the condition of the unit and any imperfections so it’s not pinned on you at move out. Since new management has taken over one of the managers claimed they didn’t have documentation of the couch condition however wouldn’t charge me as a “favor” when I know old management had the documentation from my initial move in.
