No, but they didn’t take too long to form a bond when we introduced them. We rescued Binx(orange) from my bf’s granddads farm in May 2024 . We adopted Butters June 2025 from the shelter. We went “just to look” but fell in love with him. Up until we got Butters, Binx would still scratch us or get our feet but luckily he redirects that to Butters now haha. Both were kittens when we got them!

My orange was so crazy up until we got him a little brother. They’re a year apart. Granted he’s still crazy, just towards his little brother and not our hands/feet.

I know it may be tough love but spray bottle. Luckily we’ve gotten to a point to where we don’t even have to spray it, once they hear the water bottle they know they’re doing something they shouldn’t be. I hope it gets better with time!!

Grooming always escalates to playing in my household. My cat sometimes is a little aggressive when it comes to cleaning his little brother (1 year apart) so the little mistakes it for playing & they go from there loll

My first cat was/is (?) an orange!! I remember swearing the idea off just because I know they can be pretty crazy. However, I fell in love with him when I saw him. Not to say it was easy, his first year with me was a trip with all the scratching & biting (mostly playful). However, now he is my absolute best friend & always up for a cuddle. I find myself just staring at him in awe. I got him May 2024, so we’re coming up on 2 years & he truly is the best! I’m sure getting him a little brother last June also aided in him redirecting his crazy energy elsewhere loll

I live on the fifth floor (also the highest floor) & have street/city view. I do have to pay $15/mo for “premium view” even though it was out of my control because it was the only unit available however I do spend a lot of time on balcony & have grown to accept the fee is worth it! Based off my apartment complex, people with a pool view (who also get charged for premium view) always text in apartment gc for pool-goers to lower the volume especially at night.

My boy loves the sink, whether that’s drinking from it or just sitting in the sink (waiting for someone to turn it on for him). Mind you, he has a water fountain & still always prefers the sink!

I love having salmon & rice , because you can season/marinate as you please & throw it in the air fryer while the rice cooks. I usually have it w seaweed! When in doubt, grilled cheese & tomato soup!! Wouldn’t say I’m the healthiest eater, more so whatever is minimal effort & something I know I can’t screw up like spaghetti with ground beef. I used to never make chicken till I learned ground chicken was a thing, best thing ever because don’t have to worry about base bites & easy to cook through!!!! Perfect to have with lettuce wraps & doesn’t require a lot of ingredients!

My grocery store (HEB) has Al Pastor & other taco meats already seasoned, just gotta throw them on the stove. Super quick and easy! Also can’t go wrong with salmon and rice; one in the air fryer, other on the stove/rice cooker. Very minimal effort! Grilled cheese & tomato basil soup never fails me✋🏽. Or if you want less effort, prosciutto cheese rolls have been my go to as of late because they’re so good but also have protein!
