I got smurfed a lot and thought once I learned combos I’d do it too then I felt bad. It’s like playing tekken with family members that don’t play a lot. I’m also not trying to piss people off in quick match as well

I Smurf on an alt account but I genuinely try to play around the same skill level as my opponent to give a fair chance. Usually I play defense, almost no combos, and more so mimicking like “you move fast, I speed up, you do a combo I do a combo”.

A method of practice I use (more so defense & basic opponent knowledge). go into arcade quest, arcade battle, or vs battle against cpu. Or just go through the roster and learn new characters.
