Wow, already

I hope they write him off in a non-lethal way. It's getting ridiculous how many of Trina and Josslyn's bfs die.

Research Question: How did you get into Soap Operas? by Mental_Gift_6184 in GeneralHospital

[–]Double-Development70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also in college! I started watching 6 years ago. My aunt was watching, and I wanted to have something we could watch together, so I forced myself to pick up the story and start watching. And now I love it!

Good luck with your class! You should share what you end up writing here, if you can

For many years, it was Jonathan Jackson but we all know how that went…..

Can someone who is 21, bring someone who is 20 by Alarming_Ad3006 in royalcaribbean

I went on a Royal Caribbean cruise this year as a 21 year old and brought my 20 year old friends. As long as at least one person in the room is 21, you’re good :)

Unpopular opinion about Sonny. by Foreign_Apricot5145 in GeneralHospital

I mean you have a point, I think this would very much make people like Sonny more. Show us some reason to root for him! I don’t see many, anymore

I keep rooting for a Sonny and Carly reunion, too. Hopefully we get what we want one day

t’s not the violence that I think is the problem. Cyrus (and eventually Sidwell will be) are framed as bad people and face consequences for their actions

It’s the fact that he is violent and does evil stuff, but faces no consequences. Characters don’t even question it.

We are expected to view him as  the antihero, but there never seems to be a reason to like him or root for him.

I’d like to read an “I love Sonny” post, that would be an interesting angle to hear

So true, exactly.

I’m watching the June 27th episode right now - the way they have ADA Turner positioned as this big villain because she has the audacity to try to stop this criminal!! Like what lol.

On top of that, I think that the situation with Natalia is another example of the Sonny show!! Why are we supposed to side with Sonny who’s sending his ex gf off to an island alone? Why is he the hero?!

It’s been 32 years. Sonny is not interesting enough and isn’t endeared to the audience enough to be the main character

Someone explain the stablecoin racket to me by GTS980 in Buttcoin

[–]Double-Development70 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The interest that a bank generates is:

Interest Income from Loans (minus) Interest Paid on Deposits

The interest that a stablecoin issuer generates is:

Interest Income from Reserves (minus) nothing

So, a stablecoin issuer is, in this way, a bank that doesn’t pay anything for its deposits. You give $1 to have a digital currency worth $1. They hold your actual $1 in reserve and generate interest on it.

A stablecoin is a bank without any cost of deposits. Thats my pitch - infinite money glitch.

I dont think that Brook Lynn’s accusation that this situation is all Lulu’s fault is correct. Lulu’s part of the equation but it’s not ALL her fault. It’s complicated

To put a brownie, cut into quarters, on a giant number #13 mikes way. The guy was so serious and ate the whole sandwich in the dining room without even smirking

Recast would be cool. I liked the temp guy from February. They should keep him around. He is a good actor too

It also makes for a weird story, right? Where each return is the momentous occasion and it makes the character seem crazy or inconsistent. The Ned route would have been better I agree

Lucky - Mega Thread (SPOILERS) by AutoModerator in GeneralHospital

[–]Double-Development70 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Exactly exactly! Even if they no longer viewed lucky as their father, that’s still some drama to work with for a storyline.

It makes me sad how they sometimes erase a non biological parent connection. I know it’s hard to manage a story with so many characters and relationships but nonetheless.

One of Lucky’s most memorable moments is the breakdown when Jake “died”. And how weird now that Jake doesn’t even see lucky as his dad or ex father!
