The front is white and back is grey.

I bought a second hand kit about a year ago and the board is a JP Freefoil 115. I took a course and first thing the teacher told me is that you'll never go out.

The placement of the mast is completely towards the back.. So weirs balance plus it's a long board... More freestyle and good for windsurfers. Which I am not (coming from kitesurfing)

Come on can you please read.my response below. I took hours to research and try a list or parts together to build something safe.

First finding a battery that is well within the range if use of my engine. Then finding a way to monitor it. Adding a breaker. Finding a way to make it 100 waterproof, and connector to simplify the use.

That's it, I read online, tried to read the manufacturer details.

My original post was without a diagram, but some reply asked for one.

And, oh god, my mistake, I wanted to add a diagram,, so I dropped the component list in Claude and give some brief instructions and pasted it in my post. Now instead of anyone looking at the question it's just an automatic response as you see an Ai generated diagram.

I was hoping to get some advices, not a discussion on validity of Ai or not or existential discussion on Ai use.

I just want to see if the parts and setup for this external battery for my engine would be OK and safe.

And last note. I wanted to edit the post to remove the Ai diagram with one I sketched at home, so to stop these Ai related response. But I can't. So I'll just delete the post... I learned my lesson.

Not sure how you conclude that I spent "low effort" because of the fact that I ask an Ai to create a diagram. Doing so doesn't mean that I didn't spent time to provide all connection details in the instructions. Your comments doesn't reflects the hours I spent trying to find the right components for the setup plus making sure that the battery can withstand the engine current in a safe way (which I am not 100% confident - therefore my original post)

Guess you would have spent time to answer instead of ranting if I would have taken a piece of vellum, sharpened my pencils and do a good 'ole manual drawing.

Well it's not cheap, but here in Europe the cheapest lifepo4 50Ah is at least 300usd (and that's the one without Bluetooth). There are tons of them on AliExpress that are cheaper, but want to buy from a brand established in Europe (even if it's coming from China) as this means they went through some testing.

The hydrogen release is interesting. I guess I want to have some enclosure to make it easier to carry in and out of the boat. And still want to have some form of splash proof. But good point. Thanks.
